Unwind in the hot tub

This is one of the few places in the area with this amenity.
Escape to a private 80-acre woodland, just 10-15 minutes from the historic, and picturesque, city of Salisbury.
Enjoy tranquil trekking trails, or relax by the secluded lake. Glide through the trees, from the fun kids treehouse, on our 100 ft zip-line, or wind down by immersing yourself in nature with a good soak in our wood-fired Dutch tub.
We believe our guest cottage offers the perfect balance of natural and peaceful comfort; ideal for romantic escapes, family adventures, or digital detoxes.

The space
Detached country cottage, with kitchen, living-room, bedroom & bathroom downstairs; there are a further two bedrooms upstairs.

We’re not short on local pubs, The Hook & Glove (1.9 miles) serves traditional pub grub, and then we’ve two very good local gastropubs, also in close proximity to the cottage, The Green Dragon (1.8 miles) and The Silver Plough (3 miles ), so cooking is entirely optional 👌🏻

Guest access
The entire cottage, garden and woodland entrance is private and self-contained.

Although we try to time the use of machinery to periods of the cottage being vacant, as Nightwood Copse is a working woodland, and because the weather dictates how and when we can have work done, this means that very occasionally there will be necessary maintenance - we will always communicate this and do our best to keep any disruption to a minimum.

Other things to note
***Please note - From mid-May 2026 we are extending, renovating and refurbishing the main house; we expect the entire project to take around a year - this means there will most likely be building noise/site traffic audible from the cottage and immediate grounds.
The hours of work are scheduled to be: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm (ish).

We only accept bookings from guests who have had their identification verified by Airbnb; an achievement of positive reviews is also preferred.

Our base price is based on a two person occupancy, it then increases by £40 per person (there is no charge for infants), per night.
We offer 20% discount on weekly stays and 40% discount, on monthly stays.

To get folks off on the right foot, we provide complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, 1 litre of organic milk, locally produced apple juice, cornflakes, oats and cereal.

Upon request we can equip the cottage with a travel cot, bed rail (on single bed), high chair, baby bath and stair-gates.

We have five friendly Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, who are often in our garden (usually only in groups of two, or three - we never allow them all out together); as the guest cottage is fenced off from our own garden, interaction with the doggies is entirely optional, however as Wheatens were bred to be watch dogs (as well as ratters and cattle herders), guests will be able to occasionally, hear them - if you'd like to know more about our Sweet Wheaties please search Ardnarhu ☘️
