Dedicated workspace

A common area with wifi that’s well-suited for working.
Imagine having all the comforts of home in a tiny home, tucked in a lovely spot surrounded by trees. The RV features a private, large, sunny deck with a patio table, umbrella, propane BarBQ, and an ocean view through the trees. There is also a park bench in the shade. The dinette converts to a comfy double bed. Fully equipped kitchen, private bedroom, bathroom with shower & lots of storage. Heated with an RV furnace. There’s even a simple stereo and games to entertain. Very romantic & cozy.

The space
An updated rv home-away-from-home in an idyllic, landscaped spot with an ocean view through the trees and a large, sunny private deck, barbecue, as well as a private fire pit. There is even a patch of blackberries at the site, ready for your picking in August and September.

It's near our recreation area, where we have a pond, large fire pit, gardening shed, picnic table, benches, and a circular trail through the woods, providing lots of room to explore and relax.

For guests booking stays over the colder months, when heat is required, guests are responsible for their own propane refills. We start you off with one 30 lb plus whatever remains in the second tank at the time of your arrival, but refills are covered by the guest(s).

The heat, hot water, and stove are operated by propane. The lights, outlets, and fridge run on electricity, and we cover this as well as the internet.

Guest access
Guests are free to roam our beautiful 10-acre property. We have several ocean view spots with seating areas for guests to enjoy. We also have some trails in the woods. There is a pond in our recreational area, where you’ll find our fire pit and a grassy knoll to sit on, as well as a picnic table and some bench seats. We sometimes have a propane campfire for the summer season, when the campfire ban is in place.

Please be aware that this is rural land and there is wildlife around. Parent supervision is mandatory for children at all times and guests agree to take full responsibility when wandering the property and enjoying the pond area.

NOTE: Our dogs roam freely around our house. If you want to see our ocean view and visit our hens and rabbits, it’s best if you leave your dog in your listing or car as we’re not always around to supervise them.

Other things to note
Longterm rentals during the winter require guests to pay for their own propane. We provide two full tanks to start with. When one is empty, you can refill it when convenient. There are several places in town where you can refill it. Rona in Sechelt is where we usually go.

This is a peaceful and healing place and great spot to live without restrictions.

While we welcome well-behaved pets, we only accept one pet at a time (unless we make special arrangements) and we do NOT accept intact male dogs. Also, if your furry friend does do any damage, you will be responsible for any costs incurred to fix the damage. Pets are not allowed on the bed or couch unless they are in a pet bed and the area is covered with a blanket that you supply, otherwise you will be responsible for an additional cleaning charge.

If you’re coming for less than a week, please bring your own bedding and towels. We supply the duvet and pillows, but you need to bring sheets and pillow cases.

For guests staying for a week or more, we supply the linens and laundry is available upon request.

This is for non-smokers only. We both have strong allergies to smoke.

Wifi is available. The password is in the Airbnb manual which is stored in the corner cupboard near the entrance.

Neighborhood highlights

We live in a gorgeous semi-rural area halfway between Sechelt and Madeira Park, both of which are only 20 minutes away by car. We are up on a mountain with wonderful views of the ocean, islands, and Vancouver Island. Properties on our street are all 10 acres in size.

We have two beautiful suites in our new home for guests and have begun the tiny home/glamping part of our project. In addition to these listings, we have a luxury tent trailer nestled in the woods, a glamping wall tent, with a large, private deck as well as a tiny house school bus. Both the glamping tent and the bus have wood stoves. In the spring of 2022, our semi off-grid, micro cabin in the woods, also with a wood stove, will be ready.

We are developing the property for permaculture and have so far built a greenhouse, cleared and planted a small orchard, created several small ponds, built a very productive raised bed garden area and have planted a lilac patch as well as developed another area to grow larger crops like squash, corn and potatoes.

We are walking distance to trailheads including Homesite Creek with beautiful waterfalls.

Where I went to school: McGill, Dalhousie and Queen's University
My work: Entrepreneur, Coach
Originally from Montreal, I moved to BC in 1988 and I absolutely love it here. In 2017, my partner, Kito (originally from Brazil), and I moved to BC's Sunshine Coast, where the energy is awesome, nature is abundant, people are friendly and the pace of life calm and very healing. Our home and 10-acre property is our haven. We enjoy traveling, nature, photography, art, gardening, eating healthy foods, building, learning new things, and spending time with family and friends. We're adventurous and young-at-heart and we're actively building a lifestyle that we love. Both Kito and I have owned several businesses and have done lots of business consulting and life coaching over the years. I love the freedom and flexibility that working for myself has given me. Airbnb is a big part of my life as I've been a Superhost for many years now; we also enjoy Airbnb when we travel. It's a wonderful way to experience new places and meet interesting and diverse people. My life motto is: "Life is supposed to be FUN!" I am a big believer in the Law of Attraction and I have a very positive outlook on life.
