This amazing 1898 home surrounded by stone wall is one of the oldest & most recognized in downtown Wise, 1 block from Main St. The columned porch, winding staircase & Victorian foyers remind guests of historic charm from bygone eras.The popular Queens Chamber has a king Heavenly Bed, sparkling clean bathroom w shower & living room w 55" Roku TV. The space
Driveway parking is located within the stone wall at the side of the home. Enter the backyard through an iron gate, proceed down a short wooden walkway to the 1st door on the left and use an exclusive 4 digit code to open the electronic guest entrance. The guest staircase leads to the 2nd floor Queens Chamber

The Queens Chamber consists of a private bedroom with 12 foot ceiling, King Heavenly Bed, two side tables with lamps, tall shelf with flat screen tv, credenza, Keurig, tufted storage bench, 2 comfy reading chairs, two tall windows, closet, guest robes, lighted ceiling fan and warm wood floors. The living area has a sofa, two sofa chairs, two side tables with lamps, glasstop coffee table, coat tree, fridge w juices & sodas, microwave, lighted ceiling fan, warm wood floors and a 55" Roku TV. The private bathroom has a shower with curved shower rods, well lit pedestal sink, hair dryer, toiletries, towels & table.

Ease into the realm of peaceful quarters which include the Guest Foyer with a hospitality station (wide slot toaster, Keurig pods, bottled water, snacks)

There are brochures with information about local attractions, hiking trails and dining options

Outside, relax on the truly luxurious columned front porch as the occasional neighbor passes by, walking their pet. Nothing comes close to this exceptional front porch! Small town charm is all yours.

Take a leisurely walk along Main Street as you get to know the neighborhood. You'll want to return again and again to explore and experience the seasons and charms of this cozy small town. While guests will enjoy a peaceful, relaxing room, the home is only 1 block from Main Street Wise with UVa-Wise just around the corner. This historic home offers luxurious seclusion amidst the ocassional small town flurry of activities - an outdoor concert at the Big Glade amphitheater, the annual street festival -Wise Fall Fling, or the town's Christmas parade - southwest Virginia has plenty to offer.
