Not looking for grandma’s cottage? Check out Northport Workshop & Studio—a beautiful and modern loft studio nestled in manicured woods, within the Village of Northport. The amenities of town (restaurants, grocery, marina, beaches, coffee, bars, shopping, golf, hiking) are a quick walk, drive, or bike ride away. At home, you'll relax, cook a meal, or maybe take a nap, in a modern, well-appointed, 1-bedroom retreat. Strict 2-guest maximum. NOTE: Airbnb increased host fees +15% in Sept 2026.
The space
This space is new construction, completed in 2023. You can expect a modern interior with compelling design features like high ceilings, polished concrete floors, sunken living room with views of the surrounding manicured hardwood forest. 🌲🌳
🛌 There is a loft style one-bedroom with a Thuma queen bed, synthetic down comforter with duvet--easily accessed via a staircase.
🍽️ For dining, either sit at the oversized kitchen peninsula or outside under the massive covered back porch at the cafe table. Kitchen is small, but fully equipped with pots, sheet pans, mixing bowls, pans, knives, basic spices/condiments/olive oil, pour-over coffee, weber grill and more. We like to cook when we travel.
💻 Super fast, mesh WIFI in case you need to check on work, Apple TV with Sonos Ray speaker for entertainment, mini Bose speaker for tunes —all meant to give you the amenities of home while you’re here relaxing and decompressing from your busy life.

🚪 Guests have a private entrance with keyless entry to the studio. Back slider doors offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding woods and occasional wildlife 🦌🌲
🪚 Immediately next door is Northport Workshop where co-host Ted works during the week days. He will try and keep noise to a minimum. Please reach out if you have any concerns or if you’d like a tour/demo.
📲We live right up the street so don’t hesitate to reach out if you need us for anything.
🧺 If you want to access the laundry, please message us. We keep the workshop next door locked and that’s where the washer and dryer are located.

Although we love them, this property does not allow children <12 or pets. 👶😺🐶
The fireplace should only be used if you know how to operate a wood stove. 🔥
