A peaceful mountain retreat awaits you. The Cabin at Nightfall Ridge sits high above overlooking Wolfcreek, offering quiet, stillness, and sweeping views across Monroe County and beyond. Settle in, breathe deeply, and enjoy the beauty of this working mountain farm.

The space
Set high above Wolfcreek, The Cabin at Nightfall Ridge sits on a private 99-acre mountain farm surrounded by sweeping views, forested hills, and open skies. This is a peaceful retreat where you can unwind, explore, and reconnect with nature—while still experiencing the authentic rhythm of a working farm. Depending on the season, you may see us out tending livestock, maintaining trails, or caring for the land. Many guests enjoy these glimpses of farm life, which add to the charm and character of the stay.

The property features multiple walking trails, wooded areas, and scenic overlooks stretching across Monroe County and beyond. Mornings bring birdsong and misty ridgelines, afternoons invite exploration, and nights offer crisp mountain air and brilliant starry skies. The setting feels wonderfully remote and quiet, yet warm, welcoming, and alive with the simple beauty of rural mountain living.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the cabin and its immediate outdoor spaces, including seating areas and surrounding grounds. You’re also welcome to explore designated trails, wooded sections, and open areas across the property. Our land is spacious, so you’ll have plenty of room to roam and enjoy the scenery at your own pace.

Because this is an active farm, you may occasionally see us working on the property, and another guest group may be staying in our separate glamping tent site. The access road to that site passes by the cabin, so there may be light vehicle traffic at times, though it’s typically minimal and slow-moving. We strive to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone while preserving the authentic feel of the land.

Parking is available on site, and detailed arrival instructions will be provided before check-in. We recommend arriving before dark for the smoothest first arrival on the mountain.

Other things to note
Working Farm Setting: This is an active mountain farm, so you may see us outdoors tending livestock, maintaining trails, or caring for the land—especially in warmer months. We respect your privacy but like guests to know the property is lived in and loved.

Shared Property, Private Stay: The cabin is private, though another guest group may be staying in our separate glamping site. The access road to that site passes the cabin, so occasional slow vehicle traffic is possible.

Mountain Location: The property is peaceful and secluded, with dark night skies, natural sounds, and changing weather conditions typical of mountain terrain.

Exploration Welcome: Guests are free to enjoy our 99 acres of trails, woods, and scenic areas—perfect for walking, relaxing, and taking in the views.

Arrival Tip: We recommend arriving before dark for the easiest check-in and to fully enjoy the scenery on your way up.
