The cheapest way to get from the airport to the apartment is by metro. Take line E towards Trindade at the airport station and get off at the last station, Trindade. You will still have to walk for 13 minutes / 1.1 km to the apartment. But, don't worry, it's a descent and a beautiful path. Worth it. The fare is € 2 / person and you will have to pay in cash or purchase your prepaid card before boarding. The metro usually works until 1am.

This is where it all happens! This apartment is located in the middle of everything, which allows you to explore the main touristic area of the city on foot. On top of that, it is located 4 min / 400m on foot from the São Bento train and metro station and 5 min / 350m on foot from the pier on the Douro River. It is in this pier where the access to the Luis I bridge is located and, when crossing it on foot, you will be in Gaia and you will be able to have the view of Porto that has become the city's postcard.
Rua Mouzinho da Silveira is one of the main streets in the historic center of the city right in the heart of the touristic area of Porto. When walking down this street towards the river, you will pass the most famous restaurants and cafes. You will be able to find a pharmacy, supermarket and everything you need near the apartment.
The São Bento station is beautiful and one of the city's touristic icons. But, enjoy being so close to the station, come in, choose one of the round trip times, buy your ticket and be sure to visit some of the cities that make the North an incredible place to visit, such as Aveiro, Braga and Guimarães. You will see that Porto deserves a little more time than you initially planned.
