Enjoy sunset views from the covered deck, evenings by the fire pit, fast Wi-Fi, full kitchen, self check-in, and easy access to Asheville, Waynesville, Chestnut Mountain/Berm Park, Lake Logan, breweries, hiking, biking, and Parkway drives. Dog-friendly and ideal for families, couples, remote workers, and outdoor lovers.

The space
This mountain retreat is bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for guests who want a clean WNC basecamp close to Asheville, Waynesville, Canton, hiking, biking, breweries, and scenic drives.

Inside, you’ll find original hardwood floors, a cozy living room with a Joybird sofa, local artwork, live plants, board games, books, and a 55-inch smart TV.

The kitchen is fully equipped for real meals with a range, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, cookware, sharp knives, oil, salt, pepper, and the basics needed for an easy stay. There is a sunny breakfast nook for two, plus a dining table that expands to seat six.

Sleeping arrangements:

Bedroom 1 has a queen pillow-top mattress, mountain-view window, walk-in closet, blackout shades, and an en-suite bath with a vintage tub/shower combo.

Bedroom 2 has a queen pillow-top mattress, walk-in closet, blackout shades, full-length mirror, and an en-suite bath with a modern open shower.

Bedroom 3 is the largest bedroom and has a firm queen memory-foam mattress, front porch access, side-angle mountain views, reading chair, local books, and a clothing rack with hangers.

Each bedroom includes blackout shades, a sound machine, USB charging, spare blankets, quality linens, and a full-length mirror.

Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plush towels, black makeup cloths, and a hair dryer.

Outside, guests can enjoy the covered deck with outdoor dining, sunset mountain views, a front porch rocker, and a yard fire pit with seating. Please bring your own firewood.

Practical touches include fast Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, detergent, paper goods, driveway parking for up to three vehicles, and self check-in.

The home sits above an unused garage bay. The bay closest to the stairs is available for bikes, kayaks, skis, and the charcoal grill. Please do not park vehicles inside the garage.

Guest access
Guests have private use of the entire above-garage home, covered deck, front porch, yard fire pit, and gear-storage bay.

The rental sits behind a separate brick bungalow that may occasionally be occupied by the owners or their guests. The only shared area is the driveway leading to your private entrance. No indoor space, deck, porch, fire pit, or outdoor living area is shared.

The home is accessed by exterior stairs and may not be the best fit for guests with mobility limitations.

Other things to note
This is a renovated older home with original charm, thoughtful updates, and a few quirks that come with an established mountain property.

Photos may show seasonal foliage. Mountain views, tree coverage, and colors change throughout the year.

This is a quiet home on a dead-end street, but normal neighborhood sounds may occur, including kids, dogs, lawn care, and nearby traffic.

The home is dog-friendly, but dogs must be included on the reservation, supervised, and kept off furniture and beds.

Stays longer than 7 nights require a weekly cleaning and light inspection. We arrange the service, and the guest covers the cost, usually between $25 and $100 per week depending on the length of stay and what is needed. This helps keep the home in good condition and prevents larger cleaning issues at checkout.
