We loved staying here. The dogs had almost as much fun in the back yard as on the trails! The climate was cozy and the back yard felt very private even though you have neighbors. The location was close enough to everything but also far enough from the hustle and bustle to relax. We very much enjoyed our time here and will stay again

Some people host to make money. It’s clear Melissa hosts to help families make memories. We booked last minute due to a horrible experience with another property. Melissa was more than willing to help us out with everything from an early check in to local recommendations for food that met the requirements of a strict medical diet. Her place was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need including items for our pup. The house was very comfortable and extremely clean. She responded quickly to every question. The check out process was an absolute dream. No stripping beds or taking out trash. We were just able to leave and get on the road. Truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had in the last twenty years of traveling.

We loved it for a quick vacation in the mountains! My wife and I relaxed in the hot tub, played Scrabble and Mancala in the AirStream, and hung out around Black Mtn and Asheville. The cabin is exactly as advertised and Mae communicated quickly and clearly.

Robert was a great host! Everything was as described and we felt right at home! I would highly recommend!

"Modern cabin" is a modest description ... I would call this a mountain retreat! There were four of us (two couples), but the home would have easily accommodated eight. The design of the house was well thought out and roomy, and the decor was stylish and tasteful. It did not seem like a rental. The kitchen was fully equipped. Thick towels and a bubbly hot tub awaited our arrival, and the Saturday morning scones & hot chocolate were a delightful treat! Perfect spot for a remote get-away, but still just 20 minutes from downtown Ashville and many other attractions. We could not have been happier with this "cabin"!

My family of four adults and our three dogs had a wonderful new year’s holiday at Rich’s house. I have never stayed at a cleaner or better stocked Airbnb. They truly thought of everything we could think of and more. We especially enjoyed watching the herd of deer that came through the field at the front of the house every afternoon

Owen was very thoughtful and very accommodating. The place is right next to the forest and very quiet. The kitchen was fully equipped and had basic condiments already, which made easy for us to cook there. Surely we will stay agin in the future when i visit this area.

Smithson was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was very clean and felt like home and relaxing. I highly recommend the cottage for a wonderful visit in Asheville NC. We will definitely be back!!!

It was a wonderful stay. The home has a cozy boho vibe, I fell in love instantly. My favorite part of the stay is their record player with a small record collection. I would stay at the house again!

We stayed almost a whole month and truly felt at home. Loved every single thing about this little cottage on an orchard. Pat is a superstar host in my book. Always responsive and helpful in any way. We loved the location it's the perfect mix of feeling isolated but really only 5 minutes to the grocery store. Everything you need for an extended stay is right here. We'll be back!

We booked this trip to celebrate my Dad’s birthday and to go to Gold City Gem Mine. It’s his favorite thing to do when in the mountains. Lisa’s Place was perfect for our stay. It was very spacious, clean and well stocked for all our needs for the week. Lisa was so kind and surprised us with a bottle of champagne and some New Years goodies to help bring in the new year. Even though they were above us during the stay we hardly heard them the whole stay. Very quiet and peaceful place to spend time in the mountains. We will definitely be back.

The little cottage was exactly as described, and the owner clearly anticipated any issues or needs that might have arisen. It was very well stocked with kitchenware and linens. It was absolutely a lovely experience!

Great house if you don’t want to contend with winding mountain roads and don’t mind being 20 minutes from downtown. Perfect location for a relaxing weekend. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed greatly, and expansive back yard gives great feeling of privacy. Rooms were all spacious enough for 8 adults to be comfortable. Would definitely book again for a mountain getaway!

We booked this trip on a whim. It was everything we needed to refuel our energy to a serene spirit. This is where you need to getaway to for the weekend. We would stay for a week or maybe longer if we had the time. What I find amazing is the fact it’s off of interstate 40, but I didn’t hear a single commotion because you get lost in the beauty of the camp along the peaceful Pigeon River. It’s everything you see in the photos you just need to be there and experience it for yourself. This is a gem. We will definitely make our way up here soon. This was our second stay at Carolyn’s wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as perfect as the first! The lake views are absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect getaway. Carolyn is a fantastic experienced host, thoughtful and welcoming. It felt like coming back home. Our dog got to join us, and he loved it just as much as we did! If you’re traveling with a dog, you can’t beat the accommodations of Carolyn‘s place. It’s so nice to find a place that’s both pet-friendly and convenient and nice and truly relaxing for humans. We can’t recommend Carolyn’s home high enough and will definitely be back again. Thank you, Carolyn, for another amazing visit!
