Located just 5 minutes from the base of Stratton Mountain, this spacious home sleeps up to 8 people in 5 bedrooms and features a hot tub and game room. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, Mountain View Escape is the ideal launchpad for your next ski trip.
The space
LIVING ROOM
The first-floor open layout makes it easy to gather with family and friends. Stretch out on the leather couches, play a board game, or simply unwind and take in the view.
FAMILY ROOM / GAME ROOM
Downstairs, enjoy some friendly competition with a round of ping pong or foosball, then sink into the oversized sectional for movie night.
KITCHEN & DINING
Our fully stocked galley kitchen has everything you need to cook a real meal. With double ovens and plenty of cookware, it’s a dream setup for home chefs feeding a crowd.
The dining table seats six, with three additional counter stools right beside it—perfect for casual breakfasts or keeping the cook company.
BEDROOMS
Mountain View Escape sleeps up to 8 guests across five comfortable bedrooms, each outfitted with luxury 100% cotton bedding from Parachute and Quince.
Bedroom 1 (Main Floor): King bed, stunning mountain views, and semi-private en suite Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
Bedroom 2 (Upper Floor): King bed
Bedroom 3 (Lower Floor): Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Upper Floor): Two twin beds
Bedroom 5 (Lower Floor): Twin bunk beds. Note that this room was designed for children with kid-sized furnishings.
BATHROOMS
There’s a bathroom on each level, all recently updated with stone, tile, and glass showers (please note there are no bathtubs).
The upper and lower bathrooms feature double sinks, and the main-level bath connects directly to the primary bedroom.
All bathrooms are stocked with soft Parachute towels and essential toiletries.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Step out onto the wraparound deck to soak in the views from the 8-person hot tub. In warmer months, fire up the grill and enjoy al fresco meals at the outdoor dining table.
Guest access
With the exception of 2 locked owner's closets, the entire house is yours to enjoy!
Other things to note
The driveway can accommodate a maximum of 4 cars. There is no street parking and any cars parked on the street will be towed.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are only allowing children ages 5+ due to wide gaps between the balusters on the staircase and third floor loft. We plan to fix this issue soon, so if you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch before booking.
Please note that the wood stove shown in the background of some photos has been removed.
WINTER: The house is located just off Stratton Mountain Road, which is quite steep. Although the local roads are well maintained, we recommend AWD/4WD and snow tires for all winter visitors.
SUMMER: The two king bedrooms have window A/C units, but the rest of the house is not air conditioned. We provide 4 portable fans for your comfort. The lower level is a walkout basement (game room/family room, queen room, and bunk room) and stays very cool.
