The space
Huge ski home with phenomenal views, Hot Tub and new, huge game room! We can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests between two units. There are three living spaces, 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a full basement with a newly felted pool table, air hockey, ping pong, foosball and play room for kids.
Snow-capped in the winter and lush and green in the summer, a beautiful view of Killington Peak is right out the front door. The stunning, panoramic mountain views are a wonder to behold, no matter the season. You'll enjoy breathtaking sunrise and sunset views and the feeling of being secluded in nature while being only12 minutes from Buttermilk Falls and Jackson Gore Inn at Okemo Mountain Resort.
Guests at the Mountain View Estate will have access to over 10 acres of beautiful land, perfect for sledding, snowshoeing, hiking, roasting marshmallows, and playing outdoor games. Enjoy lounging at any of the cozy seating locations throughout the property and enjoy a game of volleyball, corn hole, bocce and several other games and activities offered at the Mountain View Estate. Then relax in the new hot tub with an incredible view of the mountains, barn and meadow.
Inside the home, you'll find a bright interior filled with natural light and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. The huge mudroom connected to the enormous two car heated garage is perfect for staying warm after a long day at the slopes and keeping your gear dry and organized. Prepare grand meals or on-the-go snacks in the full kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, a formal dining table with seating for 8 people, and a breakfast bar. Step into the relaxing living area to carry on great conversations or watch movies on the large TV or gaze at the beautiful scenery through the large bay window.
With 8 beds plus a sofa bed just in the main house alone, there's more than enough space for everyone to get a comfortable night's rest from the day's activities. Downstairs enjoy a newly renovated bathroom with washer and dryer, large bedroom with two full size beds and a twin bed plus a walk in closet and large TV. Upstairs you will find a large and newly renovated bathroom and two huge bedrooms. The double Queen Room has two large brand new beds plus a walk-in closet and leather sofa. Discover the epitome of comfort in the primary bedroom which boasts a King Bed with a brand new hybrid memory foam mattress, ample space for several people, a sitting area, a dedicated workspace, and a TV for private viewing. Enjoy mountain views from all rooms in the house!
In the smaller unit, enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails out on the large balcony outfitted with a table and chairs overlooking the magnificent mountain scenery. Upon entry, you'll find airiness and relaxation throughout. Make yourself at home by sitting on the plush furniture, socializing, or watching movies on the large TV in the living area. Create culinary charms in the full kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar open to the living room and with gorgeous views of the mountains. With a queen bed with a brand new hybrid memory foam mattress in the main suite and a twin bunk/trundle bed in the guest room, there's more than enough room for everyone to get a comfortable night's rest from the day's activities.
At the end of the day, relax your muscles in the large new hot tub on the back deck and watch the spectacular sunset. Or enjoy grilling and dining al fresco on the large trex deck while star gazing.

**We are almost done with adding a huge game room and additional living space! Guests checking in after June 30, 2023 & booking after May 2 will have access to a competition size pool table, ping pong table, foosball, air hockey, and additional living space with a sectional and TV.

Guests at the Mountain View Estate can access the entire property and it is exclusively for these guests.
Other things to note
Per our listing, The Mountain View Estate has a sixteen-person limit per stay. Please confirm the total number of guests with the host prior to booking. Any guests above indicated number will be charged $500 per person.
Additionally, per our listing, this is a “no smoking” and "no pet" property. That applies to both inside and outside our home. Any violation of these rules will result in a $1500 fee.
WAIVER & RELEASE of LIABILITY: The owners urge all guests to use The Mountain View Estate's features, facilities and its grounds in the safest manner. Use of all features, including but not limited to the use of stairs, grounds, lofts, hot tub and appliances are done at the guests sole risk. Guests understand that they are fully responsible for use of all features and owners shall not be liable to guest for any claims related to illnesses, demands, injuries, damages, or actions arising out of or in connection with the misuse of facilities, natural events/disasters or general accidents on facility grounds. Guests choosing to use the fire pit agree to do so safely and in accordance with house rules. Guests understand owners are not to be held responsible for damaged or lost personal property. Guest hereby holds owners harmless from any/all claims brought against them. Guest understands that by booking a reservation they are effectively agreeing to the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability.
