Mountain Hideaway is an elegant 3-story luxury log cabin nestled in the heart of the Ouachita National Forest and the Kiamichi Mountains. This stunning home sleeps up to 21 guests across 5 King bedrooms and a massive bunkroom, making it the perfect destination for large family gatherings and unforgettable vacations in Broken Bow.
Located just minutes from Hochatown, you’ll be close to the area’s best restaurants, bars, shopping, and attractions. It’s also a short drive to beautiful Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, the Mountain Fork River, and the local golf course.

With over 5,000 square feet of living space and nearly 6,000 square feet of expansive decks and porches across three levels, Mountain Hideaway offers breathtaking views and plenty of room to spread out. Modern rustic décor, soaring vaulted ceilings, and walls of glass create a bright, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable atmosphere.
Wake up each morning to the sights and sounds of nature as sunlight filters through the trees. Brew fresh coffee at the fully stocked coffee bar — complete with a bean grinder, gooseneck kettle, French press, pour-over maker, K-cup station, and a traditional Cuisinart coffee maker. Enjoy your morning cup on one of the spacious decks while watching for local wildlife and listening to the birds.
The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, abundant cookware, and everything you need to prepare meals for a large group. Dine indoors or fire up the grills on the back deck. We fell in love with Mountain Hideaway for its striking design, spacious layout, and truly secluded location. This elegant 3-story log cabin sits atop a mountain ridge, backing directly onto the Ouachita National Forest and offering private access to its beauty.
The story behind the cabin is just as special. After a memorable family vacation to Broken Bow, Kevin secretly purchased the property as a surprise gift for his family. Though the cabin was only a couple of years old, it needed significant love and attention. With hard work and vision, they transformed it into the luxurious Mountain Hideaway you see today — a perfect blend of elegant rustic charm.
Kevin chose this specific location in Hochatown after exploring many options in the area. Having hiked past the property some time earlier, he continued to be drawn back to this house. So, after returning from an adventurous trip to Mount Everest, he knew it was meant to be. He returned to Broken Bow and purchased the home.
As a family that loves adventure and living life to the fullest, we built this cabin as our mountain escape. Whether you're seeking thrilling outdoor experiences — hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, ziplining, or exploring — or a more relaxed pace like golf, wine tasting, or shopping, Broken Bow offers it all.
