Unwind and relax at Morehead Retreat, centrally located to shopping centers, restaurants, and many attractions. It is only a couple of miles from beach access, Fort Macon, Oceanana Pier and just a short drive to downtown historic Beaufort and NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. So, whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or an extended vacation, Morehead Retreat is your home away from home.

The space
Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered front porch that includes cushioned seating. Offering an open floor plan, you walk into a spacious, dining area that features a large dining table with bench seating. The full kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, dishware, and cookware. Through the kitchen is a living area with a couch, chairs, large flat screen tv, separate DVD player and a collection of over 250 DVDs. There are 2 full baths and 4 bedrooms. The 4 bedrooms include a king bed, 2 queen beds, and 2 twin beds, comfortably sleeping 8 guests. There is also a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer. The double doors at the rear of the house open up to a newly rebuilt deck. The fully fenced in yard offers additional privacy where you can soak up the sunlight or enjoy a game of corn hole (boards and bags located in laundry room), a patio with a charcoal grill and plenty of room for kids to run and play. There is also a grape vine that produces a tasty treat during the fall months.

Please be aware that we do not have control over the weather or the cancellation of scheduled activities such as charter boat tours, and therefore we cannot offer refunds outside of our refund policy.

To reassure guests they are receiving clean sheets and to prevent unnecessary laundering of unused linens , the sheets are neatly folded on the corner of each bed. However, if you prefer us to make the bed before your arrival, please let us know at the time of your reservation so we can accommodate you.
