This 28-Acre jungle estate sits above the Montezuma River 1km from the charming coastal town of Montezuma. The Sanctuary is a refuge dedicated to conservation & peaceful living, w/270° mountain, coastal, ocean, and jungle views.
Hike down a 250m jungle trail to the River to private pools & waterfalls of all shapes and sizes.
The main living area is all open-air & 2 huge, octagonal bedrooms w/windows. There's high speed internet, keeping you connected. A true Nature-Lovers' paradise.

The space
Fully furnished, two extra-large bedroom house with two bathrooms is a genuine sanctuary for both animals and people alike. This stylish villa is situated on top of the world on a 28-Acre Estate, dedicated as a wildlife sanctuary. The construction features a large open-air living room, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom. With generous seating and lounging options.
There is a very large front porch with hammocks, a charming chaise lounge, table and chairs, 2 rocking chairs and a dining table with 6 chairs and flowering plants all around (abundant with butterflies and hummingbirds). The kitchen, breakfast bar, and living room are all one rectangle and completely open to the nature surrounding it. It's at least 10 degrees cooler here than on the beach below due to the breezes coming up from both the ocean in the front and the river in the back. The famous Montezuma river is about 500 meters below down a private jungle trail behind the back of the Villa. This beautiful river has plentiful waterfalls (from small to large), swimming holes of various sizes, howler and white-face monkeys, as well as all species of birds and animals. A moderate descent from the villa to the rivers private pools can be reached by private trail behind the villa.
The house is less than a 5-minute drive from the center of Montezuma, where you can find plenty of excellent restaurants, gift and grocery stores, and nightlife; not to mention the miles and miles of beautiful beaches, both North and South of town.

Both bedrooms are octagonal in shape; the upstairs bedroom has a balcony with a 180-degree view, walk-in closet, and open-air, private bathroom, also with magnificent views, slate floor, and built-in garden. It has 2 queen-size beds. There are additional double-size mattresses for each bedroom that can be placed for additional guests, as well as a single-size covered foam that can serve as a comfortable meditation sofa on the floor. There is a wooden swing for two and hammocks on the terrace. The downstairs bedroom, has a King-size bed with drawers underneath and although its one level lower, has the same magnificent views of the coast, ocean, and mountains.
At the back of the house, there is a washing machine with a pila (which is a large sink for washing clothes by hand) next to it. There is a hot water tank that serves the entire house. There is even an outdoor shower, adorned with a wrought iron palm tree, where you can shower off the beach sand and saltwater. This house and property are truly a nature lover's paradise.

Mosquito nets are provided AND as immersive as a jungle experience this is we still have you WIRED for modern times. High speed internet is available at home to keep you connected while in paradise.
