The land where Monte de Rocha is located has been in the family for generations. Family summers were spent with on this beautiful property, which overlooks both the river and sea. Remodeled in 2020, the villa has been redesigned by local architects with an eye for blending traditional Portuguese amenities with modern touches for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
The space
The villa has a spacious open living space where you can relax and enjoy the incredible beach / ocean views. You’ll have easy access to the charming village of Ferragudo (only 4 min or 1,9 km away). With 3 en-suites, a BBQ, a heated pool (at extra cost), exceptional Wifi coverage, and an electric car charger, get ready to have the perfect summer retreat!
The ground floor has an open plan, light and airy with high ceilings and a wall of sliding glass doors. The patio features reclaimed Algarvian tiles and a state of the art BBQ grill, perfect for grilling on summer nights. Steps away from the patio is the heated pool, which overlooks a lush valley.
The large kitchen provides all the equipment you need including cookware, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, toaster and coffee machine. Large dining tables are available in both the dining area and outside in the shaded patio.
The living room features of a TV with Netflix, perfect for movie nights.
Our saltwater pool is 9 meters long and 5 meters wide, with a depth that goes from 1 meter to 1.6 meters — ideal for both a refreshing dip and a relaxing swim.

Ferragudo and its surroundings are unique. It really is the old fashioned Algarve. There are several beaches in walking distance, alongside a few excellent restaurants.
And we have one of the best Water Parks of Europe 10 minutes from the property, SLIDE & SPLASH. Grownups and kids enjoy serious fun in 10 hectares, with several aquatic entertainments for all tastes and ages, as well as grassed areas with loungers, spaces for shows with animals , massages and fish spa, several restaurants and a shop.
