Unwind in rich coziness bathed in sunlight and tranquility in your private garden setting. Soak in your private hot tub, while Leonard, a majestic 100ft Redwood, keeps silent watch.

The unique blend of vintage charm and updated amenities creates a perfect escape where modern comfort meets vintage vibes.

The space
We want your stay to be effortless. Upon arrival, your warm and modern sanctuary will be stocked with a few essentials so you won't have to worry about coffee or a morning nosh should you arrive late. We'll always have: homemade bread or muffins, coffee and cream, and more!

Feeling peckish? We're passionate cooks and have equipped the kitchen with top-notch cookware and a well-stocked pantry. Think EVOO, spices, grains, oatmeal, pasta – everything you need to whip up a delicious meal since you'll probably never want to leave the Bathhouse.

As twilight paints the sky, you might hear the Sausalito foghorn, a gentle reminder of our close proximity to the San Francisco Bay and its iconic fog, "Karl."

Speaking of proximity - Muir Woods, Sonoma & Napa Wine Country and Stinson & Bolinas beaches are all within close reach to our conveniently located cottage.

Guest access
The Bathhouse is situated in your private backyard behind our main home on the 10,000 sq ft property.
You'll have access to our outdoor gas BBQ located outside the back door of the main house, if you wish.

Other things to note
The split system doesn’t service the bedroom. A space heater and fan are in the bedroom closet if needed.
Laundry facilities are shared with us. Please contact us if you need to use. There are extra towels in the cabinetry below the living room t.v. The blank notebooks on the bedroom nightstands are your gift, along with the pens, if you so choose. There is a drying rack in the bedroom closet.

Our lovely property is within the Almonte district of Mill Valley, atop a steep hill with just 6 homes. Surrounded by clusters of Redwood trees, the sun is usually shining and we don't experience the infamous fog that seeps into many parts of Mill Valley.
Mill Valley is many things - both a sophisticated, little town and a little bit 60's throwback. "Old" Mill Valley lured SF city dwellers to its hippie charm amongst the towering Redwoods and hundreds of trails on iconic Mount Tamalpais (Tam, as the locals call it).
Today, there's something for all tastes. With five distinct neighborhoods for tasty food and eclectic shopping, you can likely catch a Grateful Dead member at the storied Sweetwater; take in a comedy show or musical at the Throckmorton and Marin Theatre; go thrift and consignment shopping at local fav's Mt. Carmel Shop and Diamonds in the Rough; grab a mountain bike at beloved Tam Bikes, pack a picnic from the all-organic grocer, Good Earth, and get the workout of a lifetime on the birthplace of mountain biking - Tam.
