Located on MIllsap Farm which is home to one of Springfield's favorite summer activities; Thursday Pizza Club. Come stay in our Tiny Turtle countryside cabin and get a taste of farm life on this small organic veggie farm. Take a walk in flower patch, visit the chickens, feed your scraps to the pigs, throw the ball for the dogs, be entertained by the farm happenings. Our tiny home is well designed and can easily host a family. The farm stand is stocked and ready for you just outside your door.
The space
Pine interior and bright colors gives the Tiny Turtle a warm welcome. You will feel right at home in this fun and unique home away from home. There are 5 steps up to get into this home. The living room flows into the galley kitchen with the bathroom just to the side. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and a pocket door. Ascend the steep stairs to the sleeping loft and you will find low ceilings, 2 twin beds and a futon mattress. The pocket doors look down into the living room area and can be closed off to keep the kid noise upstairs. The living room also has a futon. The front deck is a perfect place to enjoy coffee and the upper front deck will give you a birds eye view of the morning happenings while you wake up. The screened-in porch is nestled into the trees providing a relaxing escape with outside couch, chairs and hammock (one hammock provided, feel free to bring others, there are hooks for four!). The Tiny Turtle does not have a TV, but it does has mediocre wifi ( at&t and Verizon work well here), so if you desire you can unplug.
The hot water in this area has a sulfur smell but it totally harmless.
Guest access
Park right in front of your door. Explore the farm, we just ask you stay on the paths and not pick the veggies unless you ask, stay out of the barn, and leave animals in their pens.. There is a short walking trail toward the back of our farm, and don't forget to get reservations to join us for Thursday Night Pizza Club while you are here @ millsapfarms.com and click on the pizza tab
Other things to note
Please note, we have dogs and cats on the farm, please enjoy these outside and do not bring them in the Tiny Turtle

Neighborhood highlights
We are a working community farm, and you will see all the action as you stay in our Tiny Turtle in the woods. We have 10 kids and numerous volunteers who make Millsap Farm such a special community. Located just 4.5 miles North of I-44 we are easy to access. Plug in as much or as little to the farm happenings as you want while you stay with us; want to help harvest carrots? Or maybe you'd rather just stroll the fields, watching the birds, flowers, and bees. Either way is great with us.
