With a spectacular 180-degree views of Hobart and the Derwent river, this house is a wonderful holiday home. You even can see yacht races, especially the result, from the two lounges, dining room and even bedrooms. Also come to Hobart to the see the aurora, sometimes you can even see it from the house.
There are six bedrooms, a large garage, additional parking space and a huge rear yard, do not forget the million dollar views day and night.
The price is for the whole house, no one to share.
The space
The house just did the renovation: removed all the old carpet and change all to the wooden floor.
With three floors, this house is extremely spacious. There is a huge backyard, which means there are a lot of play spaces, so you can have fun without even having to go out. Don't forget to mention the million dollar views which a lot of guests mentions are not worth one million, and are worth three times more than that.
This house is great for large groups, especially a few families who want to live together. A perfect holiday house, beautifully furnished, very well equipped and just a 5 minutes drive to the Hobart CBD, 25 mins to the Airport and 5 mins to the shops.
This house is sitting on the hill, facing the Derwent river directly and has uninterrupted water views (not blocked by anything) from almost every room. Relax in the large, sunny lounge room / dining room, taking in the view through the extensive windows.
The house can fit 16 people. There are 3 full bathrooms.
Bedroom 1
This is the master bedroom located at the highest level of the house. It has a queen size bed, an ensuite, a walk-in-robe and excellent water views. This room can also fit a foldaway single bed (3 extra foldaway single beds at most with $50 each extra fee) and a cot, if required. There are also a working desk, bedside tables and lamps, a sofa chair, a small heater and an electric blanket in it.
Bedroom 2
This is the upstairs room. It has a queen size bed and garden views. There are also a huge working desk / book shelf, a lamp, a chair, a small heater and an electric blanket in it.
Bedroom 3
This room is located at the middle level of the house, same level as the lounge room/dining room/kitchen. It has a queen size bed, a fitted robe and water/garden views. This room has one door going into the BBQ area and backyard. There are also a working desk, 2 lamps, a chair, a small heater and an electric blanket in it.
Bedroom 4
This is the downstairs bedroom. This room has a double bed, a single bed, a fitted robe and excellent water views. There are also bedside tables and lamps, a small heater and electric blankets in it.
Bedroom 5
This is the downstairs bedroom. This room has a queen bed, a single bed, a fitted robe and excellent water views. There are also bedside tables and lamps, a small heater and an electric blanket in it.
Bedroom 6
This room is located at the middle level of the house, same level as the lounge room/dining room/kitchen. There are 4 single beds (each two can be combined as one king bed.) in this room. Beware, this room has no windows. But for the comfort, there are 3 air vents. It has a lot of other baby equipment and some gym equipment inside. It is normally used as one spare room.
Bathroom 1:
This is en-suite bathroom. It has the shower box, hand basin and toilet inside. The shower box also has grab bar for safety. This bathroom has one sitting stool inside also.
Bathroom 2:
This is at the highest level of the house. It has the sunken bathtub with shower head, hand basin with big bench and toilet inside. The sunken bathtub also has grab bar for easily going inside and out.
Bathroom 3:
This is at the lowest level of the house. It has shower box, hand basin and toilet inside.
It is only a 5 minutes drive to the centre of Hobart or you can leave the car behind (parking for three cars on site) and take the bus from the bottom of the hill.
Two heat pumps (One heat pump in the lounge and one heat pump in the dining room) keeps the house cool in summer and warm in winter. There are also small heaters in every bedrooms. On all room 1 to room 5 beds, there are also electric heating blankets.

This is a self-contained house with its own access.
Other things to note
There is a one car garage available and there is also parking space in front of garage. However the driveway is quite steep which can be a problem for some drivers. But I still hope you try your best to park in the garage or the space in front of the garage. If you have to park on the side of the road, please make sure you do not block opposite neighbors' driveway.
A little tip for the driveway: because the street is one Cul-de-sac (No exit street) and very short, Please do turn around first at the end of the street. So when you drive up the driveway, it will make sure you are facing the driveway straight up, not in turning position. If you do not quite get what I mean, please have a look at some photos with the whole house/street views.

Please respect our neighbors and

PARTIES/EVENTS
This property is available for accommodation only.
Strictly no parties, functions, event or gatherings of any kind are to be held at the property.
The site will be monitored closely and actively to ensure appropriate and respectful use at all times.
if there is any evidence of a party being held or any noise noticeable from the street, the Manager of the visitor accommodation will call the guests and advise them to immediately stop the party and noise. If guests do not adhere to that direction or don’t answer their phone, the Manager of the visitor accommodation will visit the property and advise the guests face to face to immediately stop the party and noise. If that direction is ignored, the Manager of the visitor accommodation will contact the Airbnb office directly to ask Airbnb to direct the guests to leave the property.
