Imagine opening your eyes from the luxury of your bed. The sun is shining on you, the birds are singing, and you get ready for your next action. It’s broad daylight, but it’s midnight.
During the summer months, the whole region of the Swedish Lapland hardly seems to sleep. Due to the high latitude, the sun shines for 24 hours a day. Being a part of this is an amazing experience, whether you are taking part in an activity arranged by us or just sitting in bed to enjoy the best midnight sun experience.

Between the late May and July, Jokkmokk and Swedish Lapland are blessed with a sun that shines for 24 hours a day, with no darkness during the night. Jokkmokk has a latitude of 66.6 degrees, lying on the Arctic Circle, providing a unique and unforgettable experience.
Most of our summer time activities can be conducted throughout the night, allowing you to glide across the waters of the river, head off on an invigorating hike, foraging and much more, all under a wonderful midnight sun.
