Ocean and garden views

Soak up the views during your stay.
Everyone loves A-Frames! This micro A-frame is magical; it looks small on the outside but inside it feels more spacious, bright & welcoming. The beautiful live-edge countertop, wood cabinets, a couch that converts to a double bed with storage, loft sleeping/storage area & hardwood floors are just some of the highlights. You'll find whimsical items, books to browse, propane heater, complete kitchen, a comfy couch & kitchen/work table. The best feature is the clear opening wall onto the side deck.

The space
We live on a beautiful 10-acre Oceanview property that has a park-like feel. Guests are welcome to explore and enjoy our gardens, orchard, walking trail, and many seating areas.

Guest access
Guests can explore our property, including our orchard area, ponds, Loop Trail through the woods, our organic gardens, and even our hens and rabbits.

NOTE: Our dogs roam freely around our house. If you want to see our ocean view and visit our hens and rabbits, it’s best if you leave your dog in your listing or car as we’re not always around to supervise them.

Other things to note
Please note that this is a micro cabin. If it’s too cold or rainy during your stay to have the wall fully open, you’ll find the space cosy. We recommend having a window open when using the propane cooktop or heater.

Neighborhood highlights

We live in a semi-rural area in Halfmoon Bay, away from the main community. The properties around us on Stephens Way range from 2 - 10 acres. Part way up Stephens Way, you'll find power lines and there you'll find hiking and mountain biking trails all over. There is a convenience store about 5 minutes away called the Halfmoon Bay General Store, that also has a liquor store. Sechelt and Madeira Park are the closest cities with grocery stores and restaurants and they are 15-20 minutes away. There are many great beach access spots along the Sunshine Coast highway and many great swimming lakes, with Trout Lake being the closest.

Where I went to school: McGill, Dalhousie and Queen's University
My work: Entrepreneur, Coach
Originally from Montreal, I moved to BC in 1988 and I absolutely love it here. In 2017, my partner, Kito (originally from Brazil), and I moved to BC's Sunshine Coast, where the energy is awesome, nature is abundant, people are friendly and the pace of life calm and very healing. Our home and 10-acre property is our haven. We enjoy traveling, nature, photography, art, gardening, eating healthy foods, building, learning new things, and spending time with family and friends. We're adventurous and young-at-heart and we're actively building a lifestyle that we love. Both Kito and I have owned several businesses and have done lots of business consulting and life coaching over the years. I love the freedom and flexibility that working for myself has given me. Airbnb is a big part of my life as I've been a Superhost for many years now; we also enjoy Airbnb when we travel. It's a wonderful way to experience new places and meet interesting and diverse people. My life motto is: "Life is supposed to be FUN!" I am a big believer in the Law of Attraction and I have a very positive outlook on life.
