Mendip View is a bright, self‑contained apartment on our smallholding, perfectly placed to enjoy stunning views from the large private balcony. Inside, you’ll find a kitchen, dining area, and a comfortable lounge. Mendip View offers a peaceful rural escape with cosy beds and plenty of space to relax.
Our smallholding is home to friendly alpacas, donkeys, sheep, and chickens.

The space
Mendip View is within the farm and you can expect to enjoy an abundance of birds, wildlife, and green fields.
Mendip View has a mezzanine floor, with 2 bedrooms upstairs with a double and king size bed and a bridge linking the two, a great design feature and unique feel.
The open plan living area consists of a kitchen with all facilities to cook a meal, along with a dishwasher. A dining room table that seats 6 sits next to the kitchen for ease and convenience.
The large bathroom has a walk-in shower and his and her sinks.
There is a double bedroom downstairs which has an ensuite with a toilet and sink to allow for privacy to the rest of the apartment.
Mendip View has a very large private balcony that is accessible from the living space. The balcony has a table and chairs as well as 2 recliners to enjoy the views.
There is a communal patio and bbq space which is shared with other holiday properties on-site (2). The paddock can be accessed by all and the alpacas and chickens wander within their paddock and can be fed on request.
Mendip View is a beautiful space for a group of 6, it was built in 2020 and is a new additional to Bathway Farm.
Guest access
Guests can enjoy their private space in Mendip View, as well as the wonderful balcony guests can enjoy communally used spaces which include the patio where there is a BBQ for guest use. From the patio you can walk onto the paddock and enjoy the outside space. Mendip View is situated up a flight of stairs.
Other things to note
We do not accept party bookings due to us having 2-holiday apartments and a converted barn on-site, as well as the farmhouse. This means that there may be other people around the site during your stay and we ask all guests to keep noise to a minimum so everyone can enjoy their stay.
