A luxury 4 bedroom family home located in a small rural hamlet, perfect for a stay with family and friends in the Essex countryside. This home has a classic countryside feel whilst taking on a modern twist. Open up the bi-folding doors for the ultimate indoor-outdoor living experience, perfect for those summer evenings. Make the most of the local walking and bike routes with picturesque views or take a drive into the local villages of Great Bardfield and Finchingfield for a pub lunch.

The space
This family home is set in a secluded, rural location just outside of the village of Great Bardfield and sleeps a total of 8 guests. Inside you will find a modern, multi-functional kitchen-diner area, perfect for entertaining with family and friends throughout your stay. Downstairs, you will also find 2 family rooms, a games room, utility room, shower room and a conservatory. The staircase will take you to 2 master bedrooms, both complete with an en-suite, along with both a double and single bedroom. Here you will also find a family bathroom, complete with a freestanding bath. Take a look out the windows where you will often be able to see the horses in the fields of Frenches Farm next door. Open up the bi-folding doors in the kitchen to gain easy access to the large wrap-around garden featuring an outdoor seating area.
Please note that the 8th guest will be on a sofa bed which is in one of the family rooms downstairs.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the property which includes a large parking area. They will also have full access to the garden which includes a dining area complete with BBQ and a large luxury 6 person hot tub.

We are based next to Essex's leading equestrian centre, Frenches Farm. Stables and arena hire are available to guests during your stay. Please contact us for more information.

The nearest village of Great Bardfield is a short 5 minute drive away where you will find 2 pubs, a tearoom and a Co-Op. An 8 minute drive will take you to the village of Finchingfield, known as the most pictured village in England and a hotspot for cyclists. Mallards is a 12 minute drive from Great Dunmow, a 20 minute drive from Stansted Airport, and 20 minutes from Braintree where you can find a train station with regular trains to London Liverpool Street.
