The space
Once you've arrived, you'll find a lower and upper gravel driveway. We recommend parking two cars at the top of the driveway by the front door, though you can park more if you are comfortable backing down, and two cars in the lower driveway by the decks. We don't allow more than six cars total and there is a small grassy area at the very bottom that one or two cars could park at.
The home is easily accessible with a keypad at the front door. You'll walk directly into the kitchen/dining/living room combination on the top floor with vaulted ceilings.
We have a QR code picture to easily access Wifi and the details listed on it for manual connection too. You'll also find our house booklet out and framed information such as our Favorites, House Info, and even an option to scan to follow our social media accounts!
There are a total of seven smart Roku TVs that are set up for Guest Mode. You'll turn the TV on and select your checkout date. We've preloaded lots of popular apps and we do have basic cable access via the Spectrum App. There are free TV options via Roku, including kid friendly TV, and access to login to your Netflix, Disney, Hulu, etc. accounts. At 10am the day of checkout -- you'll automatically be logged out of anything on all of the TVs.
You'll find three king bedrooms and three full bathrooms on the top floor including two ensuite bathrooms and one bathroom with access from the main living room. You'll also have access to the upper deck from multiple sliding doors, including in the living room and two of the king bedrooms. The upper deck includes lots of lounge sitting with a mounted tv and propane fire table on one end, propane grill (with direct propane line) and ring toss game in the middle, and then a large dining table on the other end. You'll be able to see some beautiful mountain views and forest views. Off the upper deck is easy access to a small fenced in area for your dogs and right next to that is our outdoor fire pit with adirondack chairs. There are cornhole boards and bags stored on this deck.
Downstairs you'll immediately walk into our game room with an arcade game, shuffleboard, life size tic tac toe, hightop table w/ chairs, and plenty of seating. While sitting on a huge sectional coach you'll be able to watch tv and take in the beautiful and locally painted mural right behind your head. This room also gives access to the fourth full bathroom and a large laundry room with an additional refrigerator.
The fourth bedroom is on the other side of the basement, which offers two built-in bunk beds with individual lights and outlets for each bed, as well as two single twin beds, each with a trundle, on the other side of the room. It sleeps 8 comfortably and allows for plenty of play with huge beanbag chairs all around the room, mounted tv with wii game console and additional board games.
The lower deck can be accessed from either of the downstairs rooms which takes you to a 6-person hot tub, spider web saucer swing, and additional seating.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking for large groups including plenty of dishes, silverware, and even storage for leftovers. We provide ample coffee, both grounds and pods, including sugar, powdered creamer, and a few syrup options. We do routinely stock our home with a few snacks, items you may have forgotten (toothbrush, toothpaste, bandaids, etc.), and keep things accessible such as batteries incase a remote runs out. These will be found on the countertop and in kitchen cabinets.
Our home is conveniently located 7 miles from Boone, 5 miles from Banner Elk, and 10 miles from Blowing Rock. We are also just 1 mile from Hawksnest and close to many other major attractions such as Grandfather Mountain, Sugar/Beech/App Ski Mountain Resorts, Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville Falls, and Tweetsie Railroad.
Each stay comes with four koozies that you can take home with you to remind you of your stay with us. We will typically surprise you with something local, such as coffee grounds from a local roaster or a snack/treat from a local small business.
We are a dog friendly property and welcome up to two dogs. Please pick up after your furry family members and dispose of it properly - we even provide cleanup bags. We do leave some toys in a basket in the living room for them. Please dispose of any that are played with a little too hard and let us know so we can replace them!

* Please note the gravel driveway has a moderate uphill incline. It is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November - March, and chains may also be necessary to access Seven Devils in winter months.
