The guesthouse has a full kitchen, living room, queen bedroom with attached bath, enclosed laundry porch, WiFi, and large screen TV (firestick media). A private back deck with a fenced in area.

Guests have access to the gazebo hot tub, and outdoor kitchen.

The space
Pets: If you are brining your pet please be sure to select it during your pricing search under the '# of guests dropdown'. Airbnb has moved this feature (we do charge a single flat fee of $25 for up to two dogs per stay) - it's okay if you miss or can't find it - please just let us know and we'll send you the fee request separately after booking.

The guesthouse features:

Bedroom with queen bed, open closet, built in dresser, attached bathroom with; shower/tub combo and stocked essentials (shampoo, bath gel, soap, towels)

Kitchen with oven/stove, fridge, microwave, Keurig, and misc small appliances. Large round dining table that doubles as a great work space.

Front entrance to guesthouse is through the private enclosed porch & laundry room.

Seasonal Notes:

Summer Months: The guesthouse does not have air conditioning. Fans are provided.

Winter Months: The guesthouse is heated by gas fireplace. The months of Jan through March can bring snow and freezing temperatures. We live in an area that can get snow a few times over the winter. Freezing temps are most common and can impact the availability of the outdoor amenities.

Hosts live on-site (in separate home). There is an in-law unit nextdoor to the guest house which is occasionally occupied.

Guests are welcome to use the large outdoor kitchen BBQ and Hot Tub (host will show you where the propane controls are upon arrival or at your convenience).

Other things to note
1. No visitors are allowed we no longer make any exceptions - if you are having someone over you must add them to your Airbnb stay and they do count toward the 2 guest limit.

2. Septic system: we are on an older septic system and it's critical that you do not flush anything other than toilet paper. (flushable wipes are not compatible regardless of what the packaging says)

3. Dogs must be on leash except for letting them out in the enclosed back deck/patio area. We ask that you don't leave them alone for extended periods of time and If you do plan on leaving your dog alone at all please travel with their kennel.

Neighborhood highlights

We are located exactly 7-miles from the Sunset Rd Exit off of I-5. Sunset Drive turns into the 'Mt. Baker Hwy' a 2 lane rural highway (the drive to and from I-5 to our location is approximately 12 minutes) - our nearest cross street is the Kelly Rd. and We're near the Rome Store which is a not to be missed local gem for anything from cooking essentials to deli and bakery treats. We have a new grocery store just down the road a few miles too!
