(No I-5 noise from our home) Fully fenced yard. 2 complementary bikes RailRoad trail at end of road, walk/bike into Barkley or to Whatcom Falls Park. Our home is tiny, but very cute. Need a get-away? Whole house to yourself. Private, cozy, quiet, comfortable bungalow. Fenced in backyard if you are travelling with your 4-legged friend. Two-minute walk to the ferry dock for a visit to Lummi Island. This guest house is not directly on or facing the beach. However, when you walk about 50 feet, through the gate, on the side of and past the main house, you will be next to the beach and can watch the sunset over Lummi Bay on Gooseberry Point in relaxed Whatcom County.

Beautiful Waterfront Cottage on a 4 acre farm

We had a great time at Lydia’s farm cottage. We enjoyed meeting the goats and pot bellied pig. The garden out back had great strawberries and blackberries, as well as others. The location was great for our kayaking and whale watching trips out of Deer Harbor, as well as great hiking at nearby Turtleback mountain. All in all, a quiet and relaxing home for our first visit to Orcas Island.

We loved our stay and the cabin was cozy and perfect for our needs, with lots of room. It was delightful to walk right out of our door onto the beach. My friends and I had a very pleasant stay. We were within driving distance of many fun activities and shops on the island. The house was clean and there was lots of seating. We took advantage of the hot tub, kitchen, and tv. I liked the big ottoman for playing games. Would stay again!

We loved it! We were looking for something more private in the area, difficult to find in Glacier as everything is in tight knit neighborhoods. But this place was perfect, the trees provided all the privacy we needed and did not feel like we were on top of the neighbors.

One of the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Very welcoming and relaxing. This place is well appointed and close to town but yet out enough to be super quiet. Kitchen well stocked and has everything you need. I also appreciate how clean this bungalow is. Kudos to the cleaners for a good job and paying attention to detail. Great place
