Welcome to Lopez Island, our slice of paradise in Bayou St. John! This home is the perfect retreat for mid-term guests seeking a one to four-month stay. Immerse yourself in the vibrant essence of New Orleans living, as this spacious one-bedroom apartment is adorned with local art, vibrant colors, and conveniently located within walking distance of Bayou St. John, City Park, and Esplanade Ave.
The bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed, a TV for entertainment, a walk-in closet, and a primary bathroom with a luxurious standing shower boasting dual shower heads. Additionally, the second bathroom presents a relaxing soaking tub with jets.
Unwind in the elegant Ladies Parlor, a formal living space designed for relaxation, or enjoy the privacy of the front porch furnished with comfortable seating, perfect for lounging.
The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with all cooking and baking essentials, including a food processor, kitchen-aid mixer, and more. The open concept living and dining area allows for seamless flow throughout the space. The kitchen island doubles as a dining table with eight chairs, providing an excellent setting for hosting guests or enjoying a delightful dinner.
The living room is complete with a large TV that enables you to log into your favorite streaming accounts, while a Bluetooth sound system allows you to play your favorite tunes from your phone, creating a pleasant ambiance throughout the house, backyard, and front porch.
Step outside to discover a refreshing saltwater pool in the backyard, accompanied by an outdoor dining table for six, a cozy outdoor sofa, and a convenient grill. Covered parking is available for two cars in the spacious driveway/parking area. While the pool area is private and secluded, it's worth noting that the driveway/parking area is shared, allowing tenants in other units to park in their designated spots.
For added convenience, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, as well as an ironing board and iron, are available.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to unit 1A. This includes access to the covered front porch, accessible through the kitchen, and private access to the gated backyard and pool. There will be one room in the unit that is locked and closed off from guests. The outdoor shed will also be locked and closed off from guest access. Guests are welcome to use the pool and grill. We will also include instructions for using the TV and the sound system. There is a shared foyer that guests will enter in if using the front door. Guests will have 1 private parking space under the carport and 1 uncovered parking space if needed. Additionally, street parking is plentiful for guests and visitors.
Other things to note
While the home is on one level and does not require ascending a full staircase, there are three stairs to enter (if entering through the front entrance or back entrance).
This is an apartment within a larger multi-family home that is occupied by other tenants. The backyard driveway/parking lot is shared, as is the foyer where the front entrance is located.
