To protect high-end cookware and glassware:
• Do not put wood or wine glasses in the dishwasher
• Coffee maker and most coffee accessories are not dishwasher safe (dishwasher will destroy carafe)
• If handwashing feels like too much, feel free to leave the above items for us to clean - we’re happy to take care of it!

❄️ Fall & Winter Travel – What to Know
• The home sits at 5,600 ft elevation in a high-snow area—winter here is stunning but requires planning.
For winter travel, you’ll need:
• An all-wheel drive vehicle
• Snow tires
• Chains (required to enter the park in icy conditions)
Snow plowing in this rural area can take a few days, so we recommend:
• Keeping a close eye on the weather
• Planning ahead and staying flexible
• We offer a very lenient cancellation policy for snow and weather—your safety comes first!
• If snow delays your departure, you’re welcome to stay additional nights at $150/day to cover electricity and propane until the road is cleared.
• Bottom line: Enjoy the magical snow, but safety always comes first. If a significant winter storm is forecast, we suggest postponing your trip.

• The home sits on a rare, flat lot—most homes in the mountains sit on steep slopes with multiple floors.
• The setting is peaceful and secluded, far from Highway 41.
The only sounds you’ll hear:
• Tree squirrels chattering in the trees
• Occasionally, the soft whistle of the historic 1913 Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad in the distance

• Up to 2 dogs per stay (7-night max)
• Pet fee: $250
• Cats aren’t permitted due to severe allergies
• If your pup sheds, we kindly ask you to tidy up fur before departure
• When left alone, dogs must be crated or secured in the provided pen
• Service & emotional support animals are always welcome — please disclose before booking to avoid confusion
