Welcome to Siargao, welcome to Burgos, welcome to your new home away from home: LO-A Stay.

We have created for you a space where you can feel comfortable, let your soul rest, and stay for a week a month or maybe much longer than you initially planned.

It's a place close to Nature. A small creek borders our property and the homestay is immersed in lush nature. The garden invites you to forage your own fresh herbs for cooking.

The space
The rooms are designed using local materials and traditional building styles, which helps to keep them cool without air-con. This room is our take on a tropical tiny house: It has a comfy bed located on the upper level with quality linen and mattress and you have a desk and work and hang out space, as well as storage area for you luggage on the lower level.

A spacious, breezy common area is the perfect spot to hang out with friends, work or just relax. Our kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking, baking and coffee needs.

Our internet is fast and reliable for both globe and smart. Downloads and uploads are between 5 and 20 MB/s. For power outages and work it is advisable to have a back-up power bank and internet source though.

Guest access
The room shares a terrace and a separated shower and toilet with the neighbouring room. There is a communal kitchen space equipped with all your cooking necessities.

During your stay
We try to be as ecological as possible, so we don't provide toilet paper. You are free to bring your own but please don't flush it down the toilet.

Other things to note
***Some of our past guests complained about the noise from the neighbouring rooster farm. The roosters make a lot of noise during the early morning around sunrise, and during sunset. We can provide ear plugs, but cannot influence the roosters unfortunately.***

LO-A is conscious on our impact on the community and environment. We aim to avoid waste and source all our cleaning products from a refill station. We invite you to do the same and choose sustainability over plastic packaging. Whatever trash we produce is composted, upcycled and recycled as much as possible.

LO-A donates 30% of profits to NGO's and causes supporting a stronger community and healthier environment. We are happy to put you in contact with volunteering opportunities and ways to contribute to positive change.

Loa.stay has five room and is located in the north of Siargao, in a community called Burgos. We are about 90 minutes drive North of the main town General Luna.

The property is at the edge of town and is around 900 square meters in size. It borders a river on on side and a residential neighbourhood on the other side. Across the river are multiple roosters. We can provide ear plugs, but unfortunately cannot influence coming from roosters (mostly during sunrise and sunset), or neighbours. Culturally there is a high noise tolerance in the Phillipines which might differ from your own.
