A little Eden in the Town of Eden. This mod 1972 cabin is just four miles West of Dodgeville, nestled in a secluded glen with private pool, staggering views, 60 acres of hiking, hunting, or trout fishing, two decks, and access to all the Driftless Region is known for: hiking, biking, antiquing, thrifting, fine and regional dining, American Players Theater, Taliesen, House on the Rock, and Potosi Brewing Company. This place is perfect for two families or one big one, or a group of friends.

The space
The primary bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom. Adjacent to it is a small bunk room that has a full bed and a bunk bed. 3-4 children can sleep here, or two adults, but they have to walk through the primary bedroom to get to the bathroom.

The second bedroom has a queen bed with easy access to a second bathroom that includes a shower.

The living and kitchen areas are spacious with modest furnishings and a 50” TV. There is a wall of windows in the living room that looks out over a wooded valley (DNR land).

The kitchen is equipped with all the basics and a gas grill. If you have a request for specialized kitchen equipment like a mixer or roasting pan, the owner can accommodate with advanced notice.

There is ample privacy: The owner’s house is 200 feet away but not visible from bedrooms or the living room.

The house is situated on 60 acres that is a mix of forest, prairie, and wet lands. There is about a mile of mown hiking trails, plus more that are left natural and can be explored.

There is a class 1 trout stream that runs 1/4 mile through the property. Access requires hiking down a meandering path and the stream is in a natural state.

The property has a heated pool (seasonal). This pool is shared with the owner's house, so others might be using it.

There is a class 1 trout stream that runs 1/4 mile through the property. Guests are welcome to fish the stream with a proper license but should be aware that access requires hiking down a meandering path and the stream is in a natural state. A local guide has provided a map of nearby trout streams with easier access. This is available on request.

For hunters, the 60 acres is a mix of woodland, prairie, and wetlands for a variety of habitat. Hunting is allowed with proper licensing and adherence to DNT regulations. If you plan to hunt, please inform us at time of booking.
