Tucked into the rolling hills of a private 20 acre working avocado grove, the Lilac Country Cottage blends quiet rural charm with elevated modern comfort. Designed with total privacy in mind, the home comfortably sleeps four across two distinct bedrooms—each featuring its own dedicated en-suite bath, making it an effortless fit for couples, small families, or wedding guests traveling together. Step through the bright, thoughtfully furnished living space to discover dual front and back patios, perfectly positioned to capture sweeping western mountain views, golden-hour sunsets, and crisp starlit country nights. Located just minutes from the celebrated Ethereal Gardens event venue, the cottage serves as an idyllic standalone escape or can be booked alongside the adjacent Lilac Country Villa to effortlessly host larger groups while keeping your own private retreat.

Thoughtfully designed for comfort and privacy, the air conditioned cottage comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests with an ideal layout:
Two Private Bedrooms, Two En-Suite Bathrooms: Each bedroom acts as its own private sanctuary, complete with plush bedding, dedicated storage, and a private attached full bathroom—no sharing required.
Open Living & Dining: Relax in a bright, inviting living space equipped with modern furnishings, fast Wi-Fi, and entertainment options.
Fully Equipped Kitchen: Cook with ease using modern appliances, cookware, and everything you need for casual breakfasts or intimate dinners.
Indoor-Outdoor Living: Step outside onto either the front or back patio. Sip your morning coffee watching the grove wake up, and spend evenings taking in panoramic western mountain sunsets with a glass of local wine.

Other things to note
We are located in a farming area of Escondido and our property is tucked away at the far end of this rural residential area. We have about 15 different wineries within about a 10-mile radius of us, they are mostly in the town of Fallbrook, which we are adjacent to on the north side.
The beautiful stylishly built private and secluded Lilac Cottage overlooks a twenty-acre avocado orchard with a small deck complete with a barbecue, and dining for four, in addition to a front patio area again with seating for four and a fire table to enjoy the stunning natural avocado grove, hilltop and valley views.
The kitchen was created with the home chef in mind and is fully equipped with a range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and island with seating for three, with sliding glass door access to the deck and a lovely view of the avocado orchard.
Additionally, within the open living space there is a Living room with a full sized leather sofa, a coffee table and two living room chairs, a 50-inch smart TV, and overall seating for 8.
There is also a workspace in the corner area with an office chair and a small desk.
Working Avocado Grove: The cottage is located on an active agricultural property. While the area is exceptionally peaceful, you may occasionally see periodic maintenance or grove upkeep during daytime hours. Please do not disturb any ongoing work at the grove or remove the avocados from trees.
Sister Property Bookings: The cottage sits on the same expansive estate as the Lilac Country Villa ([airbnb.com/h/lilaccountryvilla](https://airbnb.com/h/lilaccountryvilla)). Both homes are independent with their own private spaces, but they can be booked together to accommodate larger wedding parties or family gatherings. Ethereal Gardens Proximity: If you're attending or hosting an event at Ethereal Gardens, the venue is just minutes down the road—making rideshares, shuttles, or quick drives completely hassle-free.
Rural Wildlife & Insects: Being immersed in nature means you might spot local birds, hawks, and harmless wildlife. We maintain strict professional pest prevention, but keeping patio doors closed helps keep nature outside where it belongs.
Quiet Hours: To preserve the tranquil setting for our neighbors, local wildlife, and any guests at the adjacent villa, outdoor quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
