Park for free

This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
• A traditional Devon stone building adjoined to South West Coastal Path - similar to National Trust Bothies with a few added comforts, facilities and electricity.
• Sleeps 1 (2 at a squeeze) - height restricted.
. Guests bring own bedding.
. Suitable for those used to camping: walkers and hikers.
No hot water provided. Outside flushing loo has a small cold water sink.
• Car parking available - for 1 car at top of my drive (100m walk up/down steep track to bothy).

The space
. The camping shed entrance looks onto a public footpath.

. Fresh tap water has been put in the Bothy for your arrival in metal bottles. Please give to Jane to refill.
. Access to water is from tap (hose available) outside of Jane's kitchen, 10' from your entrance.

.The only way to lock the door is with the key provided, the bolts outside the door have been disabled so are not possible to lock.

. There are two available electric sockets: for microwave and the kettle or charging your electrical devices. A cool box and ice blocks can be provided.

. A small electric oil radiator is provided.

.Wifi speed has been tested and will allow streaming of one HD video.

.Bedding is not provided. Loo roll, soap and a hand towel are. (some bedding etc can be provided at cost of cleaning)

. There is an outside terrace, behind the Bothy, for your own use with a table, chairs and a fire pit.

. The Grampus is the local pub and serves food.

. It is dark at night, torches are needed. You will hear owls hooting and much wildlife is around.

Guest access
Outside loo is accessed past front of house.

Road is unmade and paths and steps are uneven. There are steps going down to the Bothy from the parking area/SWCP/terrace. The Bothy is not suitable for someone with mobility issues or someone using crutches or a walking aid. Caution is required and a torch.

Other things to note
This is a back to basics camping experience. There is one window in the Bothy which provides ventilation.

Listing is for 1 but if you want to share it's not a problem. Please just let me know the full name of the person travelling with you alternatively message Airbnb support and complete identification details with them.

If you are driving please note that on-site parking is available at top of drive only. Bothy is 100 metres from parking area down a steep hill. Any vehicle brought must be parked at the top of my drive in designated area. This parking is free.

Please do not drive down to the bothy: it causes severe deterioration to the road because of the steep incline.
