Laneway 98 is a charming retreat nestled in the heart of South Hobart. Offering a blend of modern luxury and historic charm, the late 1800's worker’s cottage has been renovated to the highest standard, utilising original features where possible.
The ideal base for exploring Hobart and its surrounds. Only a 5-minute walk to the Cascade Brewery, Cascades Female Factory, and the South Hobart rivulet. If you venture a little further, you will find the CBD and Salamanca waterfront.
The space
The fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area provides the perfect space for you to come together over a delicious dinner or drinks, seamlessly opening up to the outdoor entertaining area where you can dine al fresco while soaking in the mountain views.
The bathroom provides a spa like experience. The sandstone wall with double shower and mood lighting gives to the perfect backdrop for you to unwind and relax whilst soaking in the bath. The underfloor heating will ensure comfort during the cooler months.
The lounge room, featuring a beautiful sandstone wall and exposed timber beam, is the perfect spot to cosy up by the wood heater with a book or movie on the cool Tassie winter nights.
Each of the spacious bedrooms boast exposed timber beams, ample wardrobe space and cosy beds for you to relax in comfort.
Laneway 98 offers convenient access to South Hobart's various amenities such as bars, pubs, grocers, cafes, and post office, all within walking distance. Additionally, it's close to notable tourist attractions like the World Heritage Women's Prison, the Cascade Brewery (the oldest Australian working brewery), and numerous scenic walking trails suitable for all levels.
