Keep it simple and relaxed with easy access to the lake via the gentle west sloping lawn, carefree swims from the sandy beach, daily boating from any of the 5 docks, happy hour/dinner just steps across the parking lot to the A Frame Bar & Restaurant and the perfect some ‘mores from the designated campfire area (pit).

The space
Formerly the Twin Oaks Resort, this unit has been fully renovated with a relaxed modern design and handpicked photographs to help you slip into “lake time.” This 1 bedroom/1bath has a king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen sofa sleeper in the living room, is fully furnished with a huge kitchen island for entertaining and a washer/dryer in the unit. Sleeps 4 (max) and includes use of lake frontage and day use of the docks (sorry, no overnight boat parking). The unit has two assigned parking spaces and there is plenty of extra parking spaces for boat trailers, etc.

Guest access
Lake Metigoshe is 14 miles northeast of Bottineau, ND, located in the Turtle Mountain along the U.S./Canadian border and spreads over 1,544 acres with over 26 miles of shoreline. The Lake is known as a four seasons area offering: swimming, canoeing, sailing, water-skiing and other water sports, camping, hiking, picnicking, downhill skiing, snowmobiling (over 250 miles of groomed trails), cross-country skiing, skating, sledding and ice fishing. Other things to note

There's a gas station, groceries, beer, wine and liqour (Four Seasons) across the street as well as a great pizza joint (Metigoshe Pizza). There's also a boat-in gas station on the northern part of the lake (Larson Marine). The Lake Metigoshe State Park is 1.2 miles a very short drive or a leisurely walk along the walking/biking path which circles the south lake. The Metigoshe Drive In are 2.0 miles and are next to the tennis courts and Lake House Gifts. Be sure to allow an afternoon or morning for a trip to visit the International Peace Garden and International Music Camp (20 mile)
