Unbeatable location

100% of guests in the past year gave this location a 5-star rating.
La Casita is the perfect weekend getaway. A calm, stylish space, ideal for a small family or a couple. Nestled on a quiet country road. There is only one other house, and a meadow across the street - private but not secluded. 10 min. to Hudson and 7 min. to Germantown's Main St.

After staying in a Germantown Airbnb, we decided we had to live here. Now we want to share our home when we are away. Originally, we are from Argentina & France, and La Casita is our loved little home in the country.

The space
Gut renovated 1870's historical home with all new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC

La Casita is a four season retreat: Just over 30 minutes to skiing at Catamount. Great Hiking 15 minutes away at Olana, Swimming at Lake Taghkanic is 20 minutes away, and apple picking and local farm stands are just minutes away.

Neighborhood highlights

Germantown’s main street is just a 7-minute drive away. The charming town has everything you need from the delicious farm-to-table restaurant Gaskins; a cute local market called Otto's; a handful of independent shops, laundromat, and a wine and spirits shop. We’re less than 15 minutes from the hip town of Hudson, with wonderful restaurants, great antiquing and cultural events – as well as quaint Tivoli (Bard College), Rhinebeck, and Red Hook. Historic Olana and Clermont are also nearby and worth a visit for hiking and sunsets. Skiing at Catamount is just over 30 minutes.
