Welcome to “La Caravane!” This meticulously renovated 1974 Airstream Sovereign offers high end amenities including high speed wifi, flatscreen TV, chef’s kitchen, and one-of-a-kind features including a table to bed conversion, tin tile ceilings, stained glass, and sliding barn doors. This is the top-of-the-line airstream model with a mid-cabin bathroom, providing extra room and two sleeping spaces; making it suitable for up to four guests with a full AND King Plus bed!
The space
This is the definition of Glamping! Ideal for the discerning outdoor adventurer who doesn’t want to sacrifice style and comfort.
“La Caravane” is located in the northern Catskill mountains, 30 minutes for many attractions including Wyndham, Hunter, and more. La Caravane is part of La Grange Barn & Estate, a 20 acre estate which includes other marquee properties including a farmhouse, barn & guesthouse.
As a guest at La Caravane, you have your own private parking area, outdoor seating area, barbeque, and fire pit as well as shared access to the meadow, orchard, stream, and private trail! La Caravane is set up for you to have your own exclusive experience or to rent it as part of a larger group outing or event in tandem with the other properties at La Grange.
You’ll be making incredible memories and adding to the nearly 50 years of airstream history. First purchased by Pizza owners in Ithaca, New York, La Caravane was originally used to host them as they traveled across the country visiting food festivals.
Most recently, under the skilled hand of a team of contractors who have years of experience working Fashion Week and the NYC Macy’s Christmas display, La Caravane was completely gut renovated with ALL custom woodwork and an incredible attention to detail.
This airstream is set to stay where it is, which means that you have a deck, running water, and full electricity! This will feel bigger than a New York City apartment! The amenities include a full kitchen, wall mounted TV, custom cushions and curtains, and a gorgeous full bathroom with sitting shower and compost toilet (works basically like a regular toilet!)
The finishing touches are all that await and will be completed before May 2022. You can see the nearly completed photos currently. Use your imagination and then double anything you could possibly be envisioning. It’s going to be bright, vibrant, and eclectic!
