The space
“Kulp 1976” was established in 1976 by Kulpapangkorn’s family (Pai’s family). The Kulp is located in the middle of Bangkok’s old town area called “Rattanakosin”, where you are able to discover Bangkok’s most spectacular and revered historical attractions, such as the Gand Palace, Giant swing, Kaosarn road, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, National museum and one of the oldest market in Bangkok. The oldest morning market “Trok mor” is just only a door step from a home. That means you will discover and experience a local life style, authentic local Thai foods and a mixed-culture of Bangkok.

In 2018, The home “Kulp 1976” was reconstructed and redesigned by using our memories and experiences as a raw material to create a space’s concept.

We hope you all find great memories, unique experiences and relaxing moments during of your stay at “Kulp1976”

Please note that : our home is a part of the local-market community. There are some noise from the market setting up and preparing a food in the morning time.

(Trokmor morning market is located in front of the house)

Please remind that:
* In every Monday to Friday (6am.-2pm.), there is a flea market at the Trokmor alley in front of the townhouse which you can enjoy shopping & experiencing with shop-house living. Cars are not allowed to reach in the alley at that time.

* home’s security system: This house is monitored by 2 cctv cameras, which are at outside area(1st floor), and another one at The main-entrance(1st floor)

Other things to note
As our place is located in the middle of the morning-market which the market set up every monday to friday morning, there will have some sounds from food preparation or setting up a market. The morning market starts from 5am until 2pm :D.... The market near by is a fresh market, which open everyday from 4am until midday. :D

Neighborhood highlights

Our home is located in the middle of the one of oldest area in Bangkok old town called “Rattanakosin”, where the most “must visit” sights could be found such as Giant Swing, Wat Suthat, the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and so on.

Kulp1976 is in a local-community named "Trok-mor" community, which has a Trok-mor market as a center of the area. A flea market and fresh-market is located in a door step from our home. Guests could enjoy a morning market on every weekdays for flea market and vegetable market on everyday. (Please note that if guests stay at a 2nd floor. There will be a noise and sound of setting up the market in early morning)

This is the important thing. As our place is in the middle of local community. Events and Party which could make a loud noise will be seriously disturb our neighbors. This is for your safety: not-registered guests are not allowed to stay overnight!
