Enjoy direct lake access with a double-slip party dock. Guests are welcome to use the kayaks provided (bring your own life jackets). One slip is used by a friend who rents his boat to our guests at a discounted rate; the other covered slip is reserved for your boat. Tie-ups are also available.

Property & Access Info
Steep Walk: The path to the lake and dock includes steep areas. It may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns.
Log Cabin Quirks: As a true log home, we do experience occasional moisture buildup, especially in humid months. Please run the dehumidifier in the poker loft when in use.
Carpenter Bees: In spring, carpenter bees may be present. We have pest control and traps in place, but if you have allergies or sensitivities, please plan accordingly.
Community Expectations
No Parties or Large Gatherings: We welcome families and quiet groups but are not a party house.
No Street Parking: Please keep all vehicles in the driveway. Maximum of 4 cars.
Quiet Hours: 11 PM – 7 AM to respect our full-time resident neighbors.
✅ Checkout Procedures
We believe your cleaning fee should cover most of the work—so no long to-do lists here. But we do ask for a few simple courtesies to help prepare the home for the next guest:
Outdoor Areas:
Secure kayaks and remove trash from the dock and patio
Clean and cover the grill, Blackstone, and Solo Stove firepit if used
Firewood and propane are provided—please message us if running low
Trash:
Bag all trash, including fridge food
We have several trash cans if needed, and place them at the curb Thursday evening for Friday morning pickup
If preferred, you may leave the cans at the curb during your stay due to the steep driveway
Inside the Home:
Start the dishwasher before leaving
Place patio cushions from the master bedroom balcony in the closet
Pick up all pet waste if you brought a furry friend
Double-check for personal belongings
