Vacation rentals with a kayak in Gainesville

Great location surrounded by the lake. Beautiful home with lots of room. Kayaks furnished was very convenient. Very peaceful setting with lots of activities located within the community. Would definitely stay here again.

Very well stocked home with lots of space for all 9 of us. Plenty of entertainment for all ages— 3 areas with TVs and lots of lounging room for watching movies, playing board games, talking, etc. Ping pong in the garage was a big hit! We made Thanksgiving dinner and had all the bowls, pots/pans, dishes and appliances you could need. It was a great location with plenty to do in the area. We would definitely return to this home!

The house was exactly as described. Waterfront, with use of fishing poles, kayaks and a paddle-board. Hot tub was clean and hot. We took advantage of every swing, hammock, and rocker. We also found a great water taxi that picked us up at Pelican Pete’s and gave us an Ozark tour as well as took us to dinner at the Twisted Oar. it was beautiful- I look forward to returning.

This was a 10+ stay very beautiful home away from home

We had a fantastic stay at Gary and Sherry's home and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly and active getaway. The location is perfect, situated just a short walk from Playfield Park. The park features a wonderful playground for kids, making it an ideal spot for families with young children. The 1/4 mile walking path around the field is perfect for leisurely walks or taking your dog out for a stroll, and the tennis and pickleball courts are just a stone's throw away for those who enjoy sports. Inside the home, the kitchen is well-equipped, which was a huge bonus. I was able to prepare and cook a full Thanksgiving meal for my entire family without any issues. The kitchen has all the essentials you could need for cooking, and it made our holiday gathering so much easier and enjoyable. One tip: the host suggests bringing all your food items, which I highly recommend. We did not want to have to trek outside the neighborhood for pricey grocery items.

Here’s a suggestion for a five-star review: My family and I had an amazing stay. We evacuated from Hurricane Milton and Spencer was incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us to check in. Spencer was very responsive and quick to answer any questions, making the entire process smooth. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in and navigating the space a breeze. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

This cabin was excellent for a group of friends and would be great for a family with children as well. There’s enough fun activities at the house to not need to leave, including a large hot tub and gas fire pit, a fun putt putt course, corn hole, shuffleboard, etc. The living and dining rooms are large with an awesome entertainment center and large tv. The walk to the dock is a nice short hike. And if you want to get out to town, it’s a very short and easy drive. Groceries are very close. There’s a family of deer that were out every morning. I’d definitely book here again.

cottage is ideal for a husband & wife with kids because of the second bedroom downstairs. My wife had a problem with the stairs that led to the kitchen & she wished that there had been a bathroom downstairs as well so that she didn't have to go upstairs to use it. Normally we try to stay in a place that has everything on one floor but the place we normally stay at when we go to Lake Lanier decided not to continue with airbnb but didn't tell us until the last minute even though we had already paid the room fee so in a rush we ended up staying here. We don't have any major complaints at all about the cottage because everything worked out well for us in that the boat dock had electricity to charge our boat at night & the dock was within a close walking distance from the cottage, about 75 yards or so, which was great. we would stay here again if not for the steps & the one bathroom. Amy & Matt were very great host & responded to us when we called them.

We had a great time on our impromptu trip to the lake. The house was clean and the sunsets were beautiful from the dock.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Zoe's house. The house was close to Lake Lanier Olympic Park and Laurel Park, and not far from the downtown. Zoe's artwork, furnishings, sheets, towels and candles really set the home apart from other places at which I have stayed. We look forward to our next stay.

We had a wonderful time in Big Canoe and this home was in a great location, very well equipped and nicely furnished. The owner was very responsive and helpful!

My family and I had a most relaxing, peaceful long weekend in Marty and Mike’s home in Lake Canoe. Everything was as described when we placed our reservation. We loved the house and will certainly rent again at some point in the future if the occasion arises.

This cabin was very impressive and Hassan was a wonderful host. We had another cabin fall through at the last minute and he helped us get in the same day and sent cleaners over immediately. It was a lifesaver. The community was also great. Lots of things to do in Big Canoe and also close enough to Blue Ridge.

The place was amazing and beautiful and had everything you could ask for on site. I would definitely recommend it and would also stay there again.

Great place for the price. The sheets were clean and the bed was cozy. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. It’s a small walk to the waterfall and located right on the river. Definitely would love to stay here again in the summer to experience the water. The drive to town was just 15 minutes. Pretty straight forward honestly and the aesthetics of the place was great as well. Glad we found this gem of a place! Highly recommend.

We absolutely LOVED staying at the river cabin! Beautiful property, great location, peaceful and just as described on listing. The hosts were very friendly and responded quickly. We will be returning for another vacation!

The cabin was in a great location, right off the Soquee where you could walk down to a wonderful water front. It was well off the road so it made for a very quiet and peaceful stay! Would highly recommend!

Everything about this place was absolutely amazing. Simone was always very attentive and responsive. We had a wonderful Christmas getaway in this magical cabin! Highly recommended!
