The Entire property is yours ! Some rooms not accessible (furnace, storage areas), these areas are reserved for our cleaning and maintenance team.

Other things to note
Pets: We do allow pets for a fee

Quiet hours: To be respectful to our neighbours I do have a strict quiet hours policy from 11pm - 9am. This property does sit on 17 acres of private land but excessive noise/sound does travel over the lake

Smoking: Absolutely NO Smoking indoors. Guests will be held financially responsible if found smoking inside. Removing smoke odour can cost up to $1000.

Firewood: Is provided by host for convenience but please be considerate of your usage for future guests. We resupply our firewood twice a year. If there is no wood supply left there are plenty of locations in town (5 minutes away) that sell firewood.

Septic: Please be advised that this cottage is on a septic system, only bathroom tissue and natural (biodegradable) waste should be put down the toilet or any of the drains.

Stat holidays: Are a minimum 3 night stays

Water: Our water is tested regularily twice a year. Water from the fridge is filtered and drinkable.

Hot Water Tank: To accommodate a house of this size hot water can from time to time run low if used excessively. Please try to space out usage to make sure this doesn’t happen and you have the most comfortable stay.

Garbage: Guests are responsible for disposing their waste during & after their stay. Please use the clear garbage bags provided. The waste disposal sites ONLY accept clear bags. One garbage pass is provided in your welcome basket. This pass can be used at the nearest waste facility located at 27 Monck Rd, Harcourt, ON K0L 1C0. There is also a detailed schedule posted with other nearby waste facilities in the area and their operating hours. My recommendation is to take all garbage with you after your stay and dispose of it at the location above on your way home.
