Neighborhood highlights

Metamora is a historic town that was established in the 1800's. There is a canal and railroad tracks that run through the center of town. Our Inn is on the main street of town and is within walking distance of shops, dining, and attractions. You'll find artisan shops, restaurants, and a historic grist mill all within walking distance. Just steps from Duck Creek Inn you’ll find the historic Duck Creek Aqueduct, as well as the Whitewater Canal Trailheads. Bring your bikes, lace up your sneakers, and explore the trail alongside the Whitewater Canal!

It is important to know that we cannot guarantee and do not control when/if shops or other businesses in town are open. Typically most everything is open on weekends but this is often based on weather and other unpredictable variables outside of our control. At times, shops and dining are open on weekdays but this is unpredictable. If you arrive and things are closed in Metamora, you can drive about 6 miles to Brookville for shopping and dining. Batesville is about 12 miles away and also has shopping and dining. There are other options, as well.
