The Outpost is a unique experience. This is a place where you can be completely off the grid, but still have all of the amenities. Private conch cottage on the backcountry waters surrounding Key West. Enjoy watching the amazing wildlife from your private deck. You can paddle board, kayak or do some light tackle fishing right off the boat. You can even add eco-tours to enhance the adventure.

We will take you out for arrival and bring you back on your departure day, via one of our other boats.

The space
This is a fully-functional cottage, floating on the water. The layout includes spacious front and back decks, a sitting area/game room in the back and a beautiful fully equipped kitchen in the center. There's a bathroom off the kitchen and a living room with a futon that converts to a bed. In addition, there's a loft with a second bedroom and there's a topside sitting area for 360 degree views.

The Outpost is the ultimate glamping experience. You'll have all the amenities of home, with the understanding that you are still on a boat. There is a solar array that provides power for the Outpost.

*There is also a generator that can power the a/c and refrigerator overnight for around 6 hours if needed.

In addition to the small refrigerator, we have two large coolers that will be the best place to store any items you want to keep cold during your stay.

The bathroom is equipped with a marine head for your toilet needs. When you check in, we will give you instructions and the do's and don't's of using the marine head. There is also a shower in the bathroom. Like the refrigerator and a/c, it runs off solar, so there are limits to the amount of hot water! (no 20 minute steaming showers for you here).

During your stay on the Outpost, you'll have the entire boat to yourselves.

Although you can make arrangements to go to shore with us, this experience is designed for guests to spend the majority of their stay on the Outpost or on/in the water.

Other things to note
We will provide paddle boards, kayaks and/or snorkel gear for your group. Just let us know what you'd like. You will also have the option of booking sunset trips and eco-tour excursions to a mooring in the backcountry, for a half-day, full-day or overnight, during your stay. Just let us know if that's something you're interested in adding.
