In town for business or play and need a Homey stay near Hwy 67/The Beltline in SW in Decatur AL? This large 1 Bedroom/1 Bath is within 15 min of Daikin and other Industries on the Tennessee River. Just a few steps to Publix Shopping Center, popular restaurants, and minutes away from soccer fields, Downtown attractions, several parks, and Calhoun Community College.
The space
Welcome to Katz Place- Apt #3. The name comes from our rental business of 24 years, TOMKAT Properties. The building is on the corner of Windover Place and Glenn Street.
Park in the large parking area in the back of the building. You will enter Unit #3 from the back parking area. This unit is a clean and spacious downstairs apartment. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator w/ ice maker, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and a kurieg coffee maker with K cups. creamer amd sugar along with small appliances such as a Crock Pot, Toaster, and hand held mixer. Dishes for 4 persons, glassware, flatware and Stainless cookware. Everything you will need to cook a gourmet dinner.
Relax in the Living Room in the 2 recliner loveseat with USB chargers and 42" SMART TV with 549 cable channels and 5 HBO or catch on your paperwork at the desk in the Living room. The bedroom has a Queen size memory foam mattress and black out curtains so you will sleep well. We provide hangers and a blanket in the closet. And if you need an extra bed we also provide a blow up mattress. Extra pillows, sheets, blankets, and towels are available to our guests as well. A washer/dryer set with laundry pods is located in the unit.
Just off the Kitchen we've provided a table and chairs with a charcoal grill with charcoal on the patio to enjoy the outdoors.

You have full access to the apartment. The property has a hassle-free smart-lock system, making check-in and check-out procedures a breeze. Free parking is available on the premises in the large parking area.
Other things to note
This downstairs apartment located at 2422 Windover Pl, #3 is conveniently located close to everthing Decatur, Alabama has to offer. This can be your Home Base for short term work stays, Sporting events, or just exploring beautiful Historic downtown and the many attractions.
With several restaurants within walking distance like Bob Gibson's BBQ and Dominos Pizza; the Beltline has most everything else so all your necessities are within reach. You're also around the corner from healthcare facilities if needing care.
As per our house rules, we ask you to respect the space and maintain cleanliness, especially for longer stays. We offer maid ervice if needed for additional costs. Please ensure all windows and exterior doors are locked when leaving the apartment.

We started TOMKAT Properties in 2002. Most properties we purchased were distressed and needed total renovations. We've enjoyed the creativeness this has allowed us to do. In 2014 we purchased our 'get away from it all' cabin in beautiful Wears Valley. We love to hike, zipline, whitewater raft, and just enjoy our beautiful cabin when we come to the mountains.
