LOADSHEDDING
The home is fitted with an inverter and battery system that powers everything except the oven during power outages - so you’ll stay connected, cozy, and lit, no matter what Eskom is up to

Guests have the entire home to themselves however the home is in a secure complex with other homes as well

EMBRACING OUR NATURAL ENVIROMENT
The estate’s water supply is carefully managed—all water used is captured in septic tanks and transported off-site to protect the pristine Kaaimans River.
Please help us conserve water during your stay.

KEEPING OUR RESERVE CLEAN & WILDLIFE FRIENDLY
• Rubbish should only be placed outside in the morning.
• To prevent attracting baboons, all waste must be sealed in garbage bags and placed directly into the bins.
BABOONS AND WILDLIFE
Baboons are part of the natural environment here, and while they may appear harmless, they can become a nuisance if given access to food.
• Please keep all doors and windows closed when you are not home to prevent baboons from entering the unit.
• Do not leave food unattended outside.
• Any damage caused by baboons due to negligence (such as leaving windows open) will be at the guest’s expense.
LAUNDRY AND HOUSEKEEPING
We ask that you only hang laundry on the top balcony, ensuring the natural beauty of the estate is maintained.
• Please avoid hanging clothing over glass railings for aesthetic and safety reasons.
SECURITY & CHECKIN
For your convenience and safety, check-in must be done in person.
• Guests and their agent must sign a copy of these guidelines upon check-in.
• Guests must provide their contact details and vehicle registration information for security purposes.
• No third-party bookings—the person making the reservation must be present throughout the stay.
WATER TOYS AND STAND UP PADDLE BOARD
• Please note the use of water toys are at the guest's own risk and no liability will be accepted by the owners or co-hosts for any injuries/deaths during it use by guests.
• Please ensure that the Stand up Paddle board is tied up to the balcony as well as both oars are out of the water and on the deck when not in use as it may float away on the river if it isn't.
• Lost/damaged stand up paddle board and oars will be charged to the guest.
