Experience total relaxation at Jasmin Cottage! This pretty accommodation, sleeping four, is close to Órgiva town, only 55 mins from Granada and 30 mins from the beaches of the Mediterranean. The Sierra Nevada Ski Resort is only an hour away. Jasmin Cottage is situated within the grounds of Buenavista, a traditional Spanish country house. The location is an ideal base from which to explore Las Alpujarras, whilst being within easy walking distance to local restaurants.

The space
Jasmin Cottage has two bedrooms (one double, one twin, both with air conditioning for the hot summer months) and its own, private swimming pool.

You enter the cottage to the traditionally decorated yet spacious lounge. The lounge is furnished with two comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove, digital TV and wi-fi. Double French doors look out to the swimming pool and the beautiful views beyond.

The lounge leads through to the kitchen and in turn the bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, gas cooker, microwave oven, electric toaster and kettle, coffee pot, iron, and juicer.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin. There is a laundry room with a washing machine next to the bathroom, which leads on to the bedrooms.

Both bedrooms are doubles and are decorated simply and attractively. A special touch is that both bedrooms have French doors opening onto a vine-covered dining patio. The grape vine provides shade in summer and enormous bunches of grapes in the autumn! A table and four chairs make this an ideal spot for an al fresco breakfast. If required a cot can be provided.

The lovely swimming pool is a good size (5 x 4 metres) and has a smart terrace surround with room for sun loungers (four provided). The paved pool patio overlooks the cottage’s own private garden which is planted with a variety of trees and flowers.

This lower garden is perfect for birdwatching and has views over the olive terraces and mountains beyond.

Guest access
The cottage has independent access from the main house and there is room for car parking. Easy access to the cottage from the tarmaced road.

Other things to note
Jasmin Cottage is located in the grounds of Buenavista next to, but separate from, the main house.
