Family-friendly vacation rentals in Granada

Had a wonderful stay here. Beautiful setting...could see both the Alhambra and snowed top mountains from the outside covered balcony space.

We had the pleasure of spending a weekend in Maria's apartment. We are a couple and we were very comfortable. Maria made us feel as if we were in our own home. The apartment is very modern, clean and has all the details for a pleasant stay. It is very conveniently located, and has its own parking (optional). It has amazing views of Granada!!!! Well, and its jacuzzi is an extra that you can't miss! Highly recommended, we'll be back!

The town house is perfectly located at Carabeo road with a wonderful view of Balcon de Europa and the ocean. I can strongly recommend it.

A beautiful Airbnb with a great view. We loved the view from the balcony and use of the hot tub since it was too cold to use the pool (although we did use for cold plunges). We stayed with a baby so the many stairs weren’t ideal but the living room was large enough our 1 year old could play in there with us watching as it was far enough from the stairs. I wouldn’t recommend for a toddler who is walking and requires baby gates. Loved the town and we were able to drive down to the bottom of the hill then walk along the boardwalk each day. The many restaurants and bars on the beach were great and even in February most things were open. The Airbnb was very clean.

Very clean and comfortable Airbnb in a peaceful neighborhood. Within walking distance to cafes/restaurants and only a 10-15 minute drive to central Granada. Rosario and her husband were very pleasant hosts who were responsive and provided local recommendations that were excellent. Would stay again next time visiting Granada.

It's very nice villa with all the amenities that the family needs. There were even spices and other things left in the kitchen. Very handy. The drive is up the hill and I would not recommend to walk there, especially with children. There is a lot of space in the house and the outdoor area is amazing. The jacuzzi is a plus as the swimming pool was too cold to use in April. Almuñécar is not very busy yet as it's not holiday time in Spain, again it's a plus.I would highly recommend El Caminito del Rey and the cave in Nerja if you like outdoor adventures with your family

If you're heading to Málaga, this is the place to stay! Beautiful, cozy, and private, with an incredible view. It was super comfortable, spotless, and had everything I needed for a perfect stay. But the real highlight? Jose, the host. If I could rate him beyond 5 stars, I’d give him 10! He was beyond amazing, super kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Málaga. Thank you, Jose, for an unforgettable experience!

Well designed Airbnb, very thoughtful and comfortable. We enjoyed walking to the beach and to the old town. The house is comfortable and the kitchen is great. He has made a very nice place!

Wonderful to wake up to the fresh mountain air and the sounds of the rooster, the birds and the donkey. The village is really fantastic. Away from the “mass” tourism of Frigiliana, which is a beautiful village to visit but for us not to stay - we walked there for a day - back and forth 14 km mountain up, down mountain. The cottage is decorated as a typical “mountain cabin” and is certainly beautiful with even more beautiful weather to stay with the pool. You might also be able to stay with two families, because there is another cottage adjacent to it. Don't forget to eat in the restaurant in the village. 😻 Delicious!

Wonderful stay. At all times Joaquín's family and himself super attentive that we did not lack anything. They cared about our well-being at all times. As it appears in the description. We'll definitely be back if we go to the area again.

It's a quiet and peaceful village, and it's close to the center of Granada, 10-15 minutes by car. Breakfast is possible with the coffee, orange juice, milk, and bread you provided. Highly recommended.

I was traveling with my three children and stayed at jose's house for 5 nights. The house is beautifully located. You have a view of the mountains on all sides and in clear weather you can see the sea. The house has a cozy garden with swimming pool and beautiful pa oraman view. In the house is everything you need. Dishwasher, dishwasher, kitchen utensils,...The authentic Spanish village of El Borge can be reached on foot. You will step along a nice mountain trail for 20 minutes while you soak up the smell of apple bee trees. We didn't have a car and took the local bus to torre del mar, nerja, frigliana and malaga. From the house there is also a beautiful walk to Santopitar. The highest point in the region. Jose was an excellent host. He helped us enormously with all our questions regarding transportation, the supermarket, restaurants,... I live in a busy region in Belgium and felt really deep peace here. I hope I can keep track of this feeling in Belgium.

Great appartment, close to the beach and with an amazing view from both terraces/balconies.

Great place to stay - even in winter. Some of the bars and tapas places were closed with it being Christmas/ New Year week but there is a lovely kitchen to cook in. Regular bus to Malaga and nearby larger villages for tapas. Great communcation with Simon and Jeanette and help with getting a taxi from the airport.

I don’t even know where to start- this place was so great! Situated off a main road but still easy to find, the house offers ample space for, well, everything. There are at least 4 areas to sit outside, as well as a private pool with a while bar attached to it, but indoors it’s just as comfortable. Heating worked well, bathrooms spacious and clean, kitchen well-equipped and inviting to use. Indeed the nearest bigger supermarket is not close at all, so come prepared, but Tim and Kate also provided several kitchen staples plus some extra groceries that took the stress off. The area is gorgeous, and there are several restaurants nearby if you choose not to use the facilities (that do also include a barbecue!). Plenty of entertainment around, games, movies, and just generally a great vibe. This is clearly a well-loved home, so glad we picked it. The hosts responded super quick and even offered a late checkout as it was possible, thanks Tim & Kate!! Hope to be back someday.

Pernilla was a great host and always responded so quickly to any queries. The apartment was lovely and the village is just beautiful. So well maintained and peaceful. Just far enough away from town to be outside of the thick of it but an easy enough walk down.

Everything was great. It is a wonderful and quiet place. The place is very clean and the host is very correct. I will definitely do it again.

What a beautiful villa! The views are outstanding, the kitchen/living space and outdoor areas are lovely and very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a large group. The bathrooms and some of the bedrooms were quite dark, but we appreciate that is the design of a house built into the hillside. La Herradura is walking distance with good bars and restaurants, although as others have said it is quite a steep climb back up to the villa, but there is plenty of parking if driving. Great roads and easy access from Malaga, and easy to get into Almuñécar for larger supermarkets, buses etc. We recommend a day trip to Granada as it is only an hour away, and beautiful. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and Rachel was very responsive and helpful when we were there. A minor issue with the cooker was resolved promptly. We would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

We really enjoyed our time in la Bolina - it was such a pleasure to stay in and experience this beautiful, smartly designed house surrounded by breathtaking nature. During our stay (in mid-April), the weather changed quickly - we had sunshine, rain, and cooler temperatures - but no matter the weather, we loved being there. Also, despite the cooler and rainy weather, it wasn’t cold or damp inside the house - we didn’t even need to use the heater. Thank you for everything - we’ll definitely be planning to come back!

The first thing to say is that Juan was very nice, a very nice person who cared about a stay was comfortable. At all times he told us that we had any problems that we could let him know. The house was very nice and we had no problems with any neighbors bothering them. So it's a quiet place. Definitely recommend this place
