Itoshima Nogita House - This beautiful two story traditional Japanese house is app 130 sqm with bikes to go around the seaside and enjoy the beautiful nature.

85years old ex-bike shop renovated house in the heart of Itoshima. This cozy spacy house is located in Nogita area that is right in the middle of the well-known Sunset Road that gives an easy access to both Futamigaura and Keya, not to mention that the beautiful Nogita beach is just 10min walk (800m)!

The space
NUMBER OF GUESTS
Maximum four adults or five guests with children.

Same price for up to two guests after that an extra fee added per guest.

BEDS and TOWELS
We provide up to four single futon beds.
Children are free of charge as long as they share beds with adults.
*Please count them as adults if your children use beds by themselves.
*The system charges anyone two years old and above. Please put one year old for those who share beds with adults.

We provide towels for all guests regardless of them chargeable or not so please put exact number of guests when book.

ACCESS
You can either drive or take a bus from Hakata bus terminal.
Driving is about 50 min (35km) from Fukuoka airport or Hakata port.
Please take a Ito-Shima-Gou bus from Hakata bus terminal which is next to the Fukuoka airport and get off at Nogita bus stop. The house is 2 min walk from there. The bus ride is app 60 min direct.

SHOPS
There are not shops nearby. The nearest Seven Eleven / super market is 5km away. For those traveling by bus they need to use our e-bikes / bikes for shopping. It might be better if you get some foods before getting the bus.

ENTERTAIMENTS
We have major streaming services available for guests to enjoy which includes Netflix, Disney +, Amazon Prime and Unext (HBO..etc). The house is equipped with rapid WIFI.

BIKES
There are two e-bikes, three normal bikes, a kid's bike, a strider bike, a kid's push scooter and a trike. We also provide helmets.

Guests can have an entire house during their stay.

・Smoking is prohibited inside the premises. Please smoke outside on the garden deck.
・The house is located in a very quiet residential area with children and elderly people. Please refrain from making noise specially in the evening.

After living in the UK for many years I moved back to Tokyo where I am originally from then moved to Fukuoka for a rural life. My initial plan was to turn this lovely house into a fashion office but went for an airbnb in the end that came out to be the best decision to be made :) Please feel free to message me if you have any questions regarding the b&b, the area..etc I am Jun, the owner and administrator of Nogita House. The father of two children, whose main business is apparel retail. After living in Europe for many years, my family moved to Itoshima from Kanto. Originally, this lovely old private house was scheduled to be renovated to the apparel shop and office, but it was decided to try an unknown business called Ghost House. As a result, I myself became an accommodation manager licensed by the government, so you can stay with peace of mind in all aspects.
