Well furnished studio in an excellent location, near a great shopping area, with a supermarket and excellent restaurants. The metro station is nearby and the free bikes are a great way to discover the city and its surroundings. Masaru-San is a great host making sure that you feel safe and confortable. The express way nearby can be a bit noisy sometimes (emergency vehicles or super loud engine), but most of the time it's sounds more like a pleasant background white noise. Great and reliable internet connection and fairly quiet building during the day for those who has to work. I would definitely come back when I get the chance. Thanks again Masaru 👍🏻

Truly magical place!!! Beautiful house in a super-pretty mountain hamlet, surrounded by forest and with unbelievable views all the way to the distant sea below! Perfect place to relax and watch the seasons slowly change... The house is extremely large and very comfortable, fully equipped with everything necessary. Centrally located with pleasant drives towards the many attractions of central Fukuoka / Dazaifu / Karatsu and beyond. Yamaguchi-san and his wife are amazing hosts, they have treated us with so much kindness and hospitality. Hard to believe now it was all real and not a dream...

I stayed here for over 2 months. The host is very attentive and quick to respond! the room is a little small but the price is great. the area is ok but peaceful with a nice view of the harbour from the balcony! it was very clean and well stocked! I recommend!

It was so clean and nice! When I travel to a small town again, I want to stop by! I loved the hot springs that opened until late!

It is not far from Hakata Station, about eight minutes by walk Overall quiet, there is a Family Mart store at the laneway, there is also a very many food and specialty food shops around the walk. The host coco provides all the utensils and is very quick to respond to messages. Very enthusiastic to provide lots of information on various foods and places to visit around the area. We went to Kumamoto after we checked out, and coco was also passionate about Kumamoto's sights and food to share with us. Awesome place to stay. The only thing that is lacking is that the bed is a traditional spring floor, the overall is soft, and I'm not used to it personally. Cleanliness is no problem at all though

Convenient driving, comfortable environment

It is a traditional old Japanese house, so there is a lot of inconvenience compared to modern hotels, but it is very spacious and there are no houses around, so I think you can relax without worrying about the surroundings.The host is one of the best in the past, so I think it will be a fulfilling trip if you communicate a lot.

Great stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was clean and all the appliances worked perfectly. Location is very central too! We made a mistake and thought we had booked for one extra night - luckily, Junko was very accommodating and helped us find a solution. Very grateful for that. Thanks again! It was a very nice place to stay and a a strategic location to go to other parts of the island of Kyushu. I highly recommend the place, especially for those traveling by car since it has a free parking space and ease of access to other locations.

It was a conscientious price.It's an old-fashioned house, but I had a relaxing stay with beautiful interiors and clean bedding. I am grateful for the kindness of the manager.

About 10 minutes on foot from Akasaka Station to the indicating address, but the place is clean and concise, there is a microwave oven has a washing machine, there is a game console, there is a TV YouTube view, water heater can be switched on and off smoothly after the host instructed, I think there is a sense of oppression compared to the hotel benefits.

good for alone travel

The house was clean and well designed for multiple people to live in, parking was very convenient and would stay again next time in Fogang.

At first I had trouble finding the place because it seemed in the middle of nowhere and some places around it looked dilapidated. But once I noticed the Airbnb sign above the entrance, I found the room quickly. Almost everything you want to do in Saga is basically a 30min walk in any direction from this place. It's close to Saga station, next to some night life spots, and has a quaint community plaza down south (which features Plaza 656, as shown in zombieland saga). The room itself is a studio, but a spacious studio with ample kitchen and bathroom space, much better than city studios. It's an excellent place to setup a base with a buddy or alone and explore all of Saga city and the surrounding towns. The WiFi is also excellent (~100Mbps), as someone who has been to places with terrible wifi, it's become a must when traveling, how else are you going to plan efficiently with slow internet? If I ever find myself in Saga again, I wouldn't mind staying at this place again.

Clean affordable space, with a responsive and great host. The bedroom has 4 beds in it, which is a little funny but also pretty chill. I can see how it would be a problem if you are in a group with someone that snores or noisy people. Honestly the only issue i had is the bedroom doesnt get much or any natural light. Thats it. Other than that, the place is perfect! Also, the place could use some art or decoration, but thats not really an issue. I loved it and i would stay here again!
