Cross the bridge to Hamahiga — an island where Ryukyuan gods are said to have dwelled. Sacred traditions and stillness quietly unwind all who arrive.

Sink into the deck hammock and let the island breeze dissolve the hours. Beach is a one-minute walk. Sunrises, sunsets, a sky full of stars — moments only found by staying here.

Leave the noise behind. Recharge, body and soul.

*2F is your private guest space, dedicated entrance.
*Discounts for extended stays.

The space
The interior is renovated with antique reclaimed wood, creating a warm, refined atmosphere.

The hammock on the terrace is hand-woven by the Mlabri people of northern Thailand — every step, from dyeing to weaving, done entirely by hand. Settle in, and let the island breeze do the rest.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with cookware, a rice cooker, and basic seasonings. We recommend picking up fresh local vegetables and fish from nearby to cook your own island meal.
Streaming services including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube are available on a 50-inch 4K TV.
[Meal Plans] Reservation required
Breakfast|Yushi-Tofu & Island Vegetable Morning Set ¥2,000 per person (reserve 3 days in advance)
A Japanese-style breakfast delivered to your room, featuring homegrown seasonal island vegetables and Okinawan fresh tofu (yushi-tofu).
Dinner|A5 Wagyu BBQ on the Terrace ¥6,000 per person (minimum 2 people・reserve 1 week in advance)
A collaboration with local restaurant “Nikuya Shokudo in Henza”. Carefully selected A5 Wagyu beef and fresh vegetables from our own farm, enjoyed on the terrace. Please bring your own drinks, rice, and any other accompaniments.
Dining options on the island are limited — we recommend reserving early.

Guest access
The entire second floor is your private guest space, accessible through a dedicated entrance and staircase.
The first floor is the host family's living area, but the concrete construction provides excellent soundproofing — so you can relax freely without worrying about noise. Your privacy is fully respected.
A house manual is available on the table in your room. Please take a moment to read it before settling in.

Other things to note
To preserve the peaceful island atmosphere, please keep noise to a minimum after 9 PM.
Smoking is not permitted indoors. Please use the terrace for smoking.
Parties, gatherings, and visitors who are not registered guests are not allowed.
Please review the house rules in the manual provided. In the event of rule violations or damage to the property or furnishings, repair or replacement costs may be charged accordingly.

Where you’ll be

Uruma, Okinawa, Japan

Hamahiga Island, Uruma. There is a myth that the Ryukyu gods, Silmikyo and Amamikyo, settled on this island, had children, and prospered, making the entire island a sacred site and power spot. Although it is a remote island, it is connected to the main island by two bridges, the Kaichu Road and Hamahiga Ohashi, making it accessible by car. You can see the morning sun to the east, the evening sun to the west, and the starry sky at night. The scenery of the old traditional village, which has become less common now, is also highly recommended.

There is a Lawson and a shop on the next island.
The Max Value in front of Kaichu Road (main island) is the nearest supermarket.
There are traditional Japanese house eateries, cafes, and restaurants on the island. There are no shops serving dinner on the island.

Thanks for taking a look. I moved to Okinawa 15 years ago.I live on Hamahiga Island with my family of five, our dog, and two cats.My family and I are enjoying a wonderful time surrounded by the natural beauty of this island. Before moving here, I traveled in Asia and South America. That experience has shaped who we are today and inspired the concept of “ISLAND RESORT 76.”We have always valued not only sightseeing but also the experience of “living like a local” when traveling, and we would like to offer our guests that kind of experience. We can also recommend marine activities such as sea kayaking, SUP, and fishing, as well as hidden beaches.I hope to hear from you!
