Perfect for small groups, this home features a connected guest suite with a private entrance, making it a two-in-one retreat. The open concept living room/dining room includes a fold-down couch/bed and a 33" TV.
We have ample gated parking. Store your surfboards and motorcycles in our locked storage facility and rest easy with outdoor security cameras. On-site laundry service is available. Convenient shuttles run daily to Playa Maderas and downtown San Juan del Sur. Surf lessons and weekly board rentals await—adventure is calling! Note: there are sometimes early morning sounds of roosters crowing, neighborhood dogs barking. and monkey noises.

They live in a separate home at the entrance, so you’ll have complete privacy, independence, and peace of mind.
Stroll to 5 stunning beaches—some secluded hideaways, others vibrant and lively. Indulge at San Juan’s best restaurants with breathtaking views, like Hush, El Islote, and charming beachside spots. The ultimate surf destination, Playa Maderas, is just a scenic 15-minute walk away. Want more adventure? We’re happy to arrange surf lessons and guided hikes for unforgettable experiences!

You’ll enjoy the tranquility of off-the-beaten-path luxury without sacrificing San Juan del Sur’s dining and entertainment scenes. Our area is safe and perfect for exploring! Stroll, jog, or bike along scenic, local dirt roads. Driving is a breeze with easy access from the brand new, paved. Costanera Roadway. Despite the central location, your home feels like a private hideaway. Watch playful howler monkeys swing through the yard as you sip your morning coffee! Convenient shuttles run to town and the beaches daily.
For long-term rentals (one month or more), we charge separately for electricity (charged at 11 cordoba per kilowatt hour). The meter is recorded at check-in and check-out (and monthly). 10-day house cleaning and linen changes are provided free of charge. A starter set of toiletries and household supplies is provided upon start of rental. Need laundry? On-site laundry service (not self-serve) is just $5 for 12 items. Work remotely with the area's fastest wifi and then hit the beach. The Playa Marsella/Playa Maderas region is a half step off the beaten path of Party Central, San Juan del Sur. Here, we're a bit more chill with gorgeous open beaches, quiet seaside bars, and delicious low-key restaurants. Enjoy the world's best fish tacos with your toes in the sand, a thatched roof over your head, watching the sun set over the Pacific. We have lots of surfing, yoga, horse and bike riding, running, walking... it's a nice family place and quiet getaway - but not too quiet because the beaches and surfers are always there. Get down with the locals with Sunday baseball games or join the ex-pats for Friday pizza nights at Machete's gourmet market... both a short walk from our home. Too chill? Town and "civilization" are just a short 5-mile taxi or bike ride away. :-)
