I BASTIONI DEL PAPIRETO is an apartment located on the main floor of Palazzo Guccia, a historic building built in the 18th century on the Papireto bastion, also known as della Balata, which was part of the 16th century wall system of the city.
Very close to the places of interest of the city (Cathedral, Royal Palace, Palatine Chapel, historical markets,), the Palace is located in a strategic position that allows you to visit the historic center on foot.

The space
The palace

It was built by the Marquis Guccia Bonomolo to whom the state property granted permission to build on the embankment of the Papireto bastion.
The entrance door to the building is surmounted by the noble coat of arms of the Guccia family: a shield that depicts a rough sea inside, with an open shell on top, on which eight drops fall, flanked by two seven-pointed stars.
Once through the front door, you look out into a courtyard where a classic portal stands out from which a double flight staircase in pink Verona marble starts.
On the right of the courtyard is a fountain, once richly decorated and currently being restored.


The apartment

It has been recently restored, keeping intact the characteristic historical signs.
It is accessed from the large and comfortable main staircase that characterizes the courtyard of the building.
After the entrance door, you enter a large balcony shared with the upper floor apartment, the owner's residence.
A second door gives access to the apartment that welcomes guests with the living area with a comfortable sofa and a smart TV.
Continuing on, you will find the dining room and the kitchen corner. The latter is equipped with every comfort (induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine, refrigerator with freezer, numerous utensils and crockery).
The apartment has two bedrooms.
In the first there is a large double bed enriched with soft cushions, a large four-door wardrobe and a beautiful antique trunk.
In the second bedroom there is a comfortable single bed very particular for its colors and an antique desk.
A characteristic of the apartment is the absence of doors between the rooms, except for the bathroom which obviously has a door.
Armchairs, floor lamps and antique wall lamps complete the furnishing of the apartment.
The bathroom has a two-seater shower.
Finally, the apartment is equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board, air conditioning.
