Power walk to downtown, this sleek getaway is comfortable & livable. Fully equipped chefs kitchen opens into the large living & dining space, with Frame TV and fireplace. 3BR & side deck give plenty of space together or alone.

Each home by Alicia is infused with creative and new design concepts. This playful home embodies the irrepressible spirit & evolving style of Grace Jones.

The space
Hazel Modernist 5 is a ground-up new build by HyltonDaniel design +construction, created by Alicia Hylton-Daniel, interior designer and general contractor. It is the 5th in her series of Modernist homes, intentionally imagined and situated in Durham, and fully yours during your stay.

This fine 3 bedroom escape has all the comforts and amenities you deserve. You'll find
- Primary king bedroom with flawless en suite bath, grand glass-enclosed step-in shower and walk-in closet.
- One corner queen bedroom gives you tree-top city views.
- a fun bunk bedroom, double on bottom - twin on top, is perfect for family or friends.
- A shared hallway bath reveals colorful pops with a tile layout only an interior designer could conceive.
- You'll find beautiful Beekman bath products in all our baths.
- A first floor half-bath and mudroom, just off the kitchen, are accessible from back steps and your private driveway.
- Chef's kitchen is equipped with all the tools you need to share culinary experiences together.
- Open space living - dining - kitchen, invite you out onto an expansive side deck. The 65" Samsung Frame SmartTV in the shared living space and contemporary gas fireplace, as well as the 55" Samsung Frame SmartTV in the Primary bedroom, create a feeling of "home." Both TVs have full wifi streaming capabilities.
- We've provided Comfort-touch Nest thermostat that controls the new, efficient HVAC system, and a whole-house dehumidifier maintains freshness and clean air quality.
- Tankless water heater ensures hot water is available on demand, at all times.

Kwikset touch-pad lock system. Guests will receive their unique personal code before arrival, with easy-to-understand instructions. Private Driveway brings you directly to the back entrance. On-street parking available.
